Loved having dinner delivered when I lived on Alden Avenue... my (then 4-yo) son & I craved their shrimp toast, cold sesame noodles & General Tso's chicken and had it delivered on a regular basis from Chen's Kitchen for YEARS. Fast forward... we moved to Texas to follow my job. Yeah, they do General Tso's okay enough, but never with broccoli on the side like Chen's Kitchen does (and it's GREAT broccoli... plumb, brilliant green, steamed perfectly!). And Texas' cold sesame noodles and shrimp toast? Ha! Never. Not once in almost 22 years did I find either dish on a Chinese/Asian restaurant menu in Central Texas. Ask for it? I did. Often. They'd just shake their heads and tell me no one does such a prep.
Two days after moving back from Texas, son (now 28-yo) and I order & pick-up dinner from Chen's Kitchen. OMG! It is just as good as it ever was!
