Coney Dog Cafe — Restaurant in New Haven

Traveled 20 minutes to try this place! As their prices and selection looked so good online. Well, I get here me and 3 others of my family and we didn’t get greeted!! Acted like they never seen black people before! Everyone just starred. We sat ourself. When I looked at the menu they had almost nothing that’s on their website! They scratched out their old prices and changed them. They charge almost $7 for a single patty cheese burger with N FRIES! Lemonade was watered down. I like this place, in fact both locations. Service and wait staff are always top notch, food is always good.

I think they need to take a look at pricing though. Most places have a lunch special for coney dogs, usually 2 dogs, fries, drink for approximately $6.25 or $6.50. Here everything was ala carte, so 2 coneys fries and reg. Drink plus tip was $11. Now I always tip pretty well but my lunch without tip was almost over $8. That's my only complaint. Best Coney dogs around and everything from root beer floats chicken tenders and by far the best Coney dogs anywhere in Fort Wayne even so much better than Coney Island yeah if I was on an island I wouldn't want any Coney's from Coney Island..
