La Cayeyana Donis Bakery — Restaurant in New Haven

I am Puerto Rican that means I know my pastry very well and sandwishe that I like to eat @ all the time , I went to this bakery the places is very messy . I order a Cuban sandwish the pork had no flavor i order a relleno De papa I never try a relleno De papa soo nasty and no flavor and really greasy I order a pastelillo de guayaba that was sop soggy normally pastelillo are crunchy, plus the people I realized that her staff is all Mexican and Ecuadorian , that means is not a Boriqua bakery , I feel bad for all the locals that goes and spend there money there and is kind of funny becAuse they think they are goin to a Boriqua bakery and reality is more Mexican and Ecuadorian that's why is no flavored in there food or pastry but this bakery have a Puerto Rican name call La...

I ordered tres leches cake and requested more milk. This is what I have gotten. When I called to tell them that I wasn't happy and that the miss up my birthday, at my suprise, the owner had the gosh to tell me she doesn't think her cake was the raison why I did not enjoy my birthday that sometime else is behind that. I find her unprofessional the way she handle the complain. I also order a steak and cheese sandwish while I was waiting. The way is was made tell how dirty and unprofessional they are. I used to love this place. But i will never give them another cent of my money . Their prices have been extremely outrageous lately they charge my son seven dollars for a Alcapurria and the quality of the food and service is horrible lately as well. I don’t know if the cook is new or what the issue is but me and my family will not be going there do not recommend at all save your money.
