Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in New Haven

So I pulled up to this Dairy Queen at 6:30 pm on Tuesday 8/30/2022 and the young lady at the counter instructed me to get back in my car and go to the drive thru because they were “understaffed”. There was only one other customer there and 3 young girls working, but for some reason I had to put my kid back in the car so he can choose his ice cream at the drive thru instead of speaking to a friendly person at the counter, like a normal ice cream shop. I cooperated because I didn’t want spit in my kid’s ice cream, but I really recommend that anybody that wants ice cream just goes to Cold Stone in Orange, they are actually friendly and don’t make you jump thru hurdles before taking your money. How can I begin this review? The staff at dairy Queen should have their own sitcom. They are so much fun but professional at the same time. I ordered the Cherry dip cone. The same kind of treat I used to get as a child. Actually, I felt like a child again. This smooth chocolate taste combined with cherry flavor was so good. As I said, the whole package is awesome. I think I'll call the manager or owner and tell them what a nice experience...
