I had to wait a whole day to review to think long and hard about my review. I had walked in originally planning a 5-star. I had brought my family in, which includes a 2 yo, 4yo, my husband, and myself, so my kids could have a nice meal at McDonald’s since we don’t get to do it very often. From the moment we tried to enter, I was already becoming unhappy. When we were coming in, the McDonald’s employee walked in front of my 2 yo and I, who were following my 4yo through the doors, and we were pretty close together. I tried to just let it go since i know he is slightly more challenged, and he had a task at hand he was trying to accomplish, no big deal. He made up for it by opening the door for us anyways, which I did appreciate. I was still thinking this would be a 5 star visit because there’s no way a fast food joint can mess up an eat-in order with someone willing to wait. Wrong. I used the kiosk to order, there was one table tent which I had to retrieve with my 4 yo. Then I had to approach the counter because there was no paper in the kiosk for receipts. I was not created, in fact, except for eye contact, I wasn’t even addressed. She walked to the kiosk and I asked her if I could get a receipt. Without saying a word, she walked away from the kiosk to get the manager, leaving me standing there completely confused. We went and sat at a table and did our best to keep it down, which was going pretty well considering my children’s ages. We ordered meals for all 4 of us. I had a chicken nugget meal, my husband had a bacon quarter pounder, my kids got happy meals. My husband and I had ordered large meals, his with a large coke and mine with a large mug. Big mistake. They brought over the tray with our food, then a few seconds later the happy meals. Guess what was missing? Yep, no drinks, and no, we weren’t given cups to get our drinks either. So, I had to go to the counter again, once again I wasn’t addressed, asked how can I help you, or even a hi or nod in my direction, she just stared at me, so I asked “I paid for 2 large meals, can I please get 2 large cups so we can get our drinks? Also, can I possibly get a small cup for my 2yo? I don’t want her to spill her chocolate milk everywhere”. Without a word, she handed me the 3 cups, I said thank you and she just stared at me again. Okay, whatever. I had ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal, with an additional 10 piece chicken nugget. 5 sweet and sour sauces. I wasn’t given any and sent my husband to ask for some. He wasn’t addressed either, she just stared at him and got my sauce. He said then you with no response. Now I’m annoyed because disrespect in a customer service setting isn’t okay. Ever. I’ve worked with clients for 4 years, And I worked at this exact McDonald’s 6 years ago. My job now is much harder than working at McDonald’s was. Then, they made all of our food fresh, but gave us stale fries. Like seriously? We’ve been sitting here 10 minutes. The entire time we are I had to listen to some old man playing some game on the light up table with another old man talk trash about me as a wife, and then judge everything I did as a parent. “Makes me miss my wife, she didn’t have attitude like that” “my wife would never dare talk that much” “oh yes, let’s put electronics in front of the kid so you don’t have to be a parent”. I just sat and ignored it but he was being LOUD. I did get my mug, but it was flat as can be, and, I can’t have anything else on their menu of drinks, either too much sugar or it’s coke, which I can’t have. When we went to throw away our trash, the trash cans were full. Completely, and overflowing. My husband threw the trash away in the bathroom I believe because he said the other cans at the far side of the store was full too. So except for our meat being fresh, everything went wrong. I don’t know why I keep trying to give this store more chances, they don’t care. The staff are lazy and highly rude. Never again. I’ll go to another one next time. Read moreNow to work again a little bit at least the places staffed most of the time and open a reasonable schedule I believe they're open almost every day till 2:00 a.m. now some days they are closed early if they can't get anyone which in this Workforce is not surprising and well I can understand how it might affect mood and morale the overall attitude and mood with employees could still improve greatly this most definitely includes the management some days you go in and can't even get them to acknowledge the fact that you're standing at the counter holding food that you obviously received just moments ago they will just ignore you and continue to complain and huff and puff and argue amongst themselves and just walk past you continuously sometimes it's sad to see people in that scenario I get that it's frustrating and aggravating I put myself through college doing Food Service I work for the general public and waited tables and tended bar for nearly 20 years but you never ever let your attitude reflect what's going on internally you're in food service if you can't handle that and don't like it there are plenty of other jobs out there where you don't have to interact with the public or handle people's food last thing I want when I'm getting my meal just to know that someone who doesn't give a rats behind and is in a piss poor mood is handling my food before they give it to me because seven out of 10 times anything I get through a drive-thru window nowadays is lacking and could have been not only handled better as the food is usually just tossed about the bag fries spilled Etc where they forgotten an item or gotten an item completely wrong and when I go in to get it corrected even though I have a good attitude and I try to be polite and calm and reasonable these things happen I get treated as if I have an inconvenience or I'm not even there at all and again it's just sad if you need to find a different job just do that don't make yourself more miserable and then in the end your customer suffers and you just take the rap for it because ultimately it is on you if it's your shift and you're handing food out the window doesn't matter if you're the fry kid the grill guy or the manager that's Expo in the window or the person running the window you're all responsible for what goes out that window and if you wouldn't need it you shouldn't send it out the window it's not that difficult and they're never going to get it right if you don't force it or hold them accountable that being said things are improving if it's still do for some more improvement though and kudos to the ones that stuck it out through the hardest part of the covid and the whole industry taking the workforce hit like it did now let's get back to some good numbers and some...
Read moreSo as a VERY LOYAL customer I have to say I have had the worst service tonight. My husband and I stopped in to pick up dinner on the way home, we placed our order and waited not to long for it but I checked our order to make sure it was prepaid currently. We'll two out of 6 was not right so I simply asked for them two remade the young woman asked me how was they to be made so I told her, she took the two and walked back to have them remade. So now as our other food is now getting cold as we wait for them to make the others right is not right, so the young woman come back with a bag and two burgers and said here you go. I didn't look at them given they already had to be remade. So now I get home I am getting the food out to give to my kids and I promise you if she didn't give me the two burgers back, not only did I get the same one back but they thought it was OK to just wipe the ketchup off of one of them and tried to wipe the onion off the other one and wrapped them in the same paper and gave them back to me. So at this point I am really mad, I now get the two burgers and drive back to McDonald's and I walk in and the young girl looks at me and the manager I want to say his name is Dustin said oh no did you mess there food up kinda playing around, I said look at this point I am now very mad I said I said not only did I have to have them remake my food but she gave me the same food back and tried to fix it by wiping the ketchup off of one and then then tried to wipe the onions off the other one and gave them back to me like really how do you do this? The young woman said IDK ask him, So I looked at him and said how do you do this? You mess it up i get it we are human and went to fix it so now you made it gave it to me I looked at it ,it's not right, I give it back to you to REMAKE, it and you touch it trying to wipe stuff off of them and then have the audacity to give it back to me to eat? So I tell Dustin, so not only this big mistake but now mine and my husband's food is setting at home now cold. He said I sorry, he asked how the two burgers where to be made and had them remake them, he brought me the two they had to fix and said do you want to check them, I said again, but do you see how aggravating this is now our food is cold, he said I do I'm sorry, that was it. I'm not one trying to get something free, but one i want what I paid for and how I order it without eight different hands on it.
