Pizza Heaven II — Restaurant in New Haven

I ordered a large white pizza with ricotta, spinach, and caramelized onions. When eating it with friends, we found a piece of a PLASTIC BAG, baked inside the pizza, under the cheese. We were all obviously shocked, and concerned, because many of us had already eaten a slice, and our friend bit into the plastic. We immediately called the restaurant and informed them of what happened. After answering their questions about the plastic (ex. where it was baked, what kind of plastic, etc.) and sending them picture evidence of the plastic pieces, they DENIED our claims, accused us all of lying, and refused to give us a refund, or a new pizza. The owner argued with us, saying "I've been doing this for 25 years" and acted as if he's never made a mistake in 25 years. We told him this is extremely unsanitary and dangerous. He then proceeded to hang up on us, yelling "Goodbye!". My friend is now worried that they ate some of the plastic, since they are allergic to latex. This is extremely unsanitary and dangerous. The customer service, and concern for customer safety was horrible. There was no apology. There was no consideration, concern, or empathy. Just disrespect and denial. There needs to be a health inspection here immediately.

Recently they stopped making really good pizza. I’ve gotten sick and tired of them having two Pizza; there’s one with mozzarella cheese that comes with the cheese or melted like it’s about to slide off the pizza, very doughy and the tomatoe sauce it cold, And taste a lot like those one dollar pizzas you buy from the freezer section; and then they have really good pizza that is worth the price.

Today, I wasn’t able to eat anything because I was so busy at work, and then I got a really poorly made pizza, that I even threw out half of it and I promise myself now never to order from Pizza HEAVEN, I’m better off going to another pizza restaurant or getting chips from a vending machine.

I thinks because they got a new owner, and ever since then Pizza has gone downhill. And if they’re going to get by with ass kissing customer service and low-quality food, especially since they charge in moderate amount of money, it’s not worth it.

It’s really hard because I went from being good friends with a lot of the people there, to ordering a pizza every Sunday, but now knowing that they don’t care about the quality of their food, or...

DO NOT EAT HERE THESE PEOPLE GAVE ME FOOD POISONING. it was the only thing i had eaten all day. when i called to tell them what had happened and asked for a refund the manager told me “well how are you paying for your hospital bill if you need a refund?” assuming that i don’t have health insurance which is freaking outrageous. “there’s nothing i can do about it” “do you think a refund is going to make you feel better?” he said that the food comes pre-cook and they heat up and serve it which leaves room for bacteria to grow on their food. the manager was EXTREMELY RUDE AND INSENSITIVE despite me telling him i had to go to the hospital the next morning from eating their food. i spent $50 worth of food at this place just to get sick and end up in the hospital. such a shame, absolutely ridiculous! he wouldn’t give me his name either, just terrible, unprofessional, and DIRTY. i couldn’t call them until after i left the hospital because i was too weak to do anything which i explained to him but he said “i don’t care there’s nothing we can do for you.” i still haven’t eaten going on 34 hours now because of them and it is...
