We arrived on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was admittedly packed. It went downhill from there. The server was pleasant but aloof. She didn’t remember who had what drinks or who ordered what. Basic server stuff for this kind of joint, where you wouldn’t expect them to come to the table and auction off food. They ran out of cups and brought our drinks in styrofoam cups instead, except for the martini we ordered, which came in a rocks glass, not a martini glass. The martini eas otherwise enjoyable. Don’t order the raw oysters. We ordered them and they came out on ice, but the oysters themselves were warm, where they should be ice cold if kept at proper temp. They apologized and took them back and didn’t charge us for them. After that, the rolls were fine, but it was otherwise just difficult to enjoy the rest of the experience. The restaurant is trendy and kinda noisy but enjoyable! It’s got a great vibe, but the barstools are stained and dirty and that gives kind of a grimy feel. The restroom was clean but needed updating. I wouldn’t go back. The warm, raw seafood is where they lost the stars. They kept three because I generally love sushi.

Absolutely blown away by Bojangles Sushi! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere had a perfect mix of chill vibes and upscale charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was Cameron—hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, Cameron made sure we felt taken care of from start to finish. Now let’s talk about the food… The Hidden Dragon Roll? Top notch. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated—it was the kind of roll that sets the bar for everything else. Every bite had the perfect balance of spice, crunch, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just testing the waters, Bojangles Sushi is the spot—and if you're lucky enough to get Cameron as your server, you're in for a real treat.

The food was good if you like overpriced fish buried underneath Japanese mayo, fried bits, eel sauce, and bits of cream cheese. Not the healthiest shushi rolls I have seen offered. Near my house back home, you get much healthier and finer tasting sushi for the same price.

As far as my experience with the staff...well I was on a buisness trip to lousiana alone. When I attempted to chat with the bartender, she seemed disinterested in conversation and in a hurry to step away as soon as conversation was started. I was the only guest at the bar, and the restaurant was mostly empty. I already feel alienated in a foreign city and it sucked having a bartender running away from me. I travel alot, I have been to all 50 states due to buisness trips, and I look forward to chatting with bar staff here and there to learn about the local flavor. Instead, I got someone that worked at the bar for 4 years, knew nothing about the local area, and was clearly not interested in chatting with me, the guest. So with that being said, dont go here looking for a fun conversation with the staff, byof is the code here. The food is good, but avoid the bar. Expect fake smiles and forced conversation.

Its a good date spot if your date likes sushi but needs it to be fried, covered in mayo...

Excellent food and the waiters and waitresses are great. Can't say the same for the manager/owner. He stands over the employees and watches them while they work. I can tell it makes them uneasy. Even from a distance he will single out an employee and watch them like a hawk. Sometimes the workers seem terrified of this guy. He doesn't have a friendly demeanor at all.

Updated:So we decided to give this another shot and this manager is RIDICULOUS. We had a coupon for this place which gave us 15% off of a $25+ order. We asked out waitress if we can use the coupon with our meal and she goes ask the manager. The guy starts yelling at her! She comes back saying that he said the coupon was published before he took over the place so he's not honoring it. The poor waitress couldn't stop apologizing. Needles to say this was our LAST...
