Origin Coffee and Cream — Restaurant in New Lebanon

Stopped in on first day of opening. They were crazy busy! The staff behind the counter and in the prep area were working together smoothly and efficiently. Hard to believe they have just opened. The facility was clean, bright, and well organized. They also have a drive through window for convenience. The menu offered a good array of coffee and non coffee hot and cold drinks. I stopped in too late to enjoy any of their baked good offerings from some great local bakers. I will come earlier next time. A surprise... they will offer vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream! I ordered a London Fog. This is one of my favorite hot drinks. I was asked if I wanted it hot or cold... didn't even consider that it could be cold. I took the cold. This drink takes a bit of time as the Earl Grey tea portion has to steep for 4 minutes prior to adding the remaining ingredients, but they had it ready for me with minimal wait and the final product, my first time with the chilled version, was very good! This new little coffee shop in New Lebanon Ohio is exactly what the city needed! This little town doesn’t have much but it does have a whole lot of character and tons of lovely people! This coffee shop comes up with new beverages every month as well as keeps the original and you can always get the previous special beverages that they had came up with in the past as long as they still have the ingredients! They sell gluten free food and local honey! They offer party/meeting bookings and soon they will be offering a rental room in their lower level that isn’t currently open just yet due to renovating it for parties! The staff is extremely friendly and they have a board posted for folks to purchase a beverage for a customer who doesn’t have the funds to get a drink or just for anyone in town! First time here and I will be coming back! Absolutely amazing! The strawberry rolls are amazing, their cinnamon cookies are fabulous and their coffee is fantastic. 100/10 reccomend. This is such a lovely addition to new lebanon, we haven't had a coffee shop in years. They have taken so much time to decorate, design, and make the building feel so warm and welcoming. Their coffee is a million times better than Starbucks, dunkin or the place in brookville. If you are passing through I highly recommend stopping and getting a drink. We had their Raspberry dream latte, honey bearry cold brew and a strawberry banana smoothie. We also got a strawberry roll and cinnamon cookie.
