This place is the highest place to buy groceries at anywhere around Dayton Ohio you might get a deal on meet because it's getting ready to expire warning warning do not buy their baby back ribs they are so hard to chew and it just ain't right they have to be the worst toughest eating ribs I've ever had in my life do not buy those you won't be happy don't matter how long you cook them it will where your gums out trying to chew them everything else in the store is sick sick high don't go there unless you're desperate for something I think they changed the date on their meat I bought ribs there once I went to fix the ribs very next day and they stunk so bad like something dead that was so bad I took them back to the store the old man that works there gave me a hard time taking them back you have to pay attention to that place because they do shady stuff by back dating the meet they could get someone sick doing that stuff I have actually seen I had a lettuce for 399...

The prices on staple foods are higher than the big box stores, but I'd have to drive to Kroger or Walmart to get that cheaper price....but to be fair Kroger and Walmart use these as loss leaders and this little grocery can't afford to do loss leaders as cheaply as big box stores. The meat prices are low which is good, other foods are definitely higher priced but this little store is close by, and for items like TP and soaps and other non food items I will make the drive to the big box stores. Customer service is very good and the store is well staffed. Overall I rated them as a 4 out 5 and not a 5 just because of the prices and the store is kinda dumpy, and because of the generic brand they use is called "Essential", whatever food you buy there DO NOT BUY an Essential branded food item. I was trying to help my mom get a job here because she just lost her husband. The hiring manager didn’t even take the time to meet but decided not to hire her based on her age. Stating because of the physical aspects of the job. One you didn’t even meet her. Had you taken the time to do so you would have seen she’s in better shape than most of your current employees. I guess I will have to file a complaint for discrimination. UPDATE: Well after this post she was offered a different position. They gave her a total of 2 1/2 days to learn a job that wasn’t what she applied for only to terminate her. Couldn’t even give a person a week to learn a new job. I will pray for these people.
