Fast Eddie's Tacos & More Inc. — Restaurant in New Lenox

Ordered for the first time here and got a taco plate with three different tacos (Steak, chicken, and shrimp), I got a steak burrito, and four al pastor tacos. Chicken tacos are some of the best I ever had, odd texture sensation of being dry yet juicy and the spices were perfect. Steak with great and tender for both the taco and burrito.burrito was a bit stubby but packed and very tasty. The Al pastor tacos are very good, not over flavorful but definitely not lacking and the crispy edges make it so much more tasty. The shrimp was probably my least favorite only because si didn't have more of them. Super tender shrimp, great marinade, catches your attention but not enough to distract from everything else going on. I like to think of myself as a mexican food snob or I am just picky with my mexican food like most others. Will 1000% be going back after I move into my new place....

My husband and I were here looking for the escooters warehouse when we pulled in and saw this food truck. I'd have never known this little food truck was here just driving by. I had The el pastor tacos and they were the very best I've ever had! There wasn't a single piece of gristle and even though the corn tortillas were street taco size the meat was piled on nicely. It was full of flavor and as fresh as homemade! First of all, the man in the truck (Fast Eddie?) reeked of booze and seemed a bit disheveled. There was one person in front of us, yet it still took over 20 minutes to get four tacos. They are served on a paper plate with foil over the top, so not convenient at all for a typical takeout place. When we got home the tortillas and meat were completely covered in grease, and both the steak and pastor tasted the seem. Low quality minced up meat with just a ton of seasoning. We won’t be back.
