Ad for "Ultimate" meatball sub led to dinner plans for my wife and me. They didn't have the advertised cheesy garlic bread for it. Okay, fine, how about the Italian herbs and cheese bread?... Nope. In fact, that's what they use INSTEAD of the cheesy garlic. I asked the folks working exactly what IS the difference between the "ultimate" and regular meatball sub. They didn't know... So, I proceed to order 2 regular meatball subs on white ($2 less than a non-existent "ultimate"). One sub was fine being prepared. The second, not so much. The lady didn't say anything but she tried really hard to mask the fact there was only four meatballs laid across the foot long. I pointed it out and she said they were out of meatballs... Okaaay, so I had to wait for meatballs to be heated up in the microwave while my partial sub was sitting in the open on the counter... Then a carload of college students come in to place their orders. I had no problem with them. It's just that there were issues with them too regarding what was available. It took awhile. Finally, the lady got back to my sub and proceeded to put it together. I stopped her, due to the fact it was open wide for 10 minutes as other subs were brushing by it, to start fresh. I'm sorry if that seems particular but cross-contamination is no joke, especially in food service. I'm not sure what positive takeaways there could be... but I shouldn't have to...

The person preparing my food wasn't very personable. I greeted her when I walked up to the counter but I wasn't greeted in return. I'm someone who feels more valued as a customer when I receive a smile and a greeting. She also didn't know what the daily special was.
There were three people behind the counter. One took my order, another appeared to be training, another took my payment. I thought there was enough staff to keep the restaurant clean but there was food on the floor under a couple of tables.
The store had a...

He also walked to the back ignoring us for a few minutes until the convenience store owner/worker came over to help. This is also the 3rd time the toaster has been broken and missing/subpar items. We are locals and won't be coming back. Step it up, hire different employees or close. Word travels fast in a small town....
Also what kinda business doesn't turn some lights on in their establishment? I'm gonna say ones that are dirty, don't wanna work, and don't want to...
