The Home Store — Local services in New Market

I highly recommend The Home Store! We had BY FAR the best furniture buying experience EVER!

My husband and I were searching everywhere for what we thought was a common piece of furniture. We had been to 6 stores...talking with salespeople...who followed us around and tried their hardest to change our mind on what we really wanted.

Then we walked into The Home Store. After our experience visiting SO MANY other places, we were skeptical that we would find what we were looking for.

We walked in and were greeted by Mark. He is amazing! We shared our experience of not being able to find what we needed. He looked as if our luck was about to change.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a loveseat for our living room. However, we didn't want cupholders in the center, and we had to have a certain color, and we wanted it to recline...but we wanted it to be manual and not electric.

Picky right?!

We called Mark over to a loveseat that we thought might work. We told him our list of must-haves. His response...No Problem! You mean we can pick the color, remove the center console, and have it recline without an electric motor? YES!

He then led us over to the fabric wall (which is HUGE) and told us that we could have the loveseat made with whatever fabric we want. You mean we get what we want AND we get choices on fabric?

By the way, the price for the loveseat that met all of our crazy criteria was LESS than every store we visited!

Plus, I had custom pillows made with the cutest fabric I could find on the fabric wall!

Moral of the story...buy your furniture from Karla and Mark at The Home Store! They've been doing this for 37 years! That should tell you something! And Karla...thank you for helping me load our loveseat on my truck yesterday! ...

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Home Store. Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our purchase. I highly recommend this store and look forward to many more happy purchases in the future! If you are in the market for furniture, you must stop by to check out the many offerings at much better prices than other stores. Do not let the size of the store front fool you. For a long time now we've not stopped here as we assumed this was a tiny niche store. Wrong. This store is much larger than one may expect from the front. Some beautiful furniture and other home products on sale here. Very nice owner (Mrs....we did not meet Mr.). We only bought a few small things today but we will...
