I love district donuts and I’ve been coming here for years since they originally opened. I always say I’m not going to get a doughnut but manage to grab one every time with my coffee. This wee gooey corn doughnut was quite tasty even though it seems weird. The ambience is chill and casual and the service is relatively quick. I’ve eaten multiple items, including the sliders and the chicken sandwiches and none of them disappoint. They are consistently the same, which is hard to find a New Orleans. This is my go to breakfast spot and if you come during the summer, they have slider specials.

TOURIST BEWARE! The food was good,BUT my bacon and chozio breakfast taco had NO chorizo on it at all, ONLY bacon, I ordered this FOR THE CHOZIO. I ordered 4 doughnuts, and ONLY GOT 3. And this place isn't cheap. This would've been a 5 star review, forgetting a main ingredient in a dish and charging me for a pricey doughnut that wasn't there is giving ick. I am super disappointing since I'm from out of town and they have no way of making this up to me or my guests. The Vietnamese coffee slush was good, tho for what it's worth🙄😒

I would hazard to call whatever I had a donut, but whatever you would call it, was certainly delicious. The sign could be hard to spot and the exterior is a little-- on the intimidating side-- but through that door is a magician's workshop. The staff make no compromise, so when I thought of ordering something as innocuous as a ”cinnimon roll" I had no clue of the blowtorch that was about to be used (Awesome.) In summary, this place sells pieces of art. Bonus: coffee is great too

ABSOLUTE WORST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! If your expecting a normal donut shop do not go here! I want to the location on magazine street which basically looked like a Starbucks with a few donuts in a plastic case to choose from. The donuts are expensive and all over $3 each, with weird flavor choices. The coffee was also way over priced for the size that you get. I got 3 donuts, a kolach and a cappuccino. The donuts tasted so bad that I ended up throwing them away! The chocolate had a strange flavor that leaves an awful aftertaste in your mouth. The donuts were not soft and tasted stale. Go anywhere else...
