I really wanted to try a new place for wings and I stumbled across this spot. I got the Buffalo spicy & Tijuana wings and a simple order of fries. The wait didn’t take long and the bartender made me a drink. While I was waiting I noticed the cook grab some fries that had been sitting out, that was the first red flag. Once I got the wings and started eating them, I noticed they had to either been refried wings or burnt. The taste is the spicy buffalo wings had like a burnt taste underneath the flavor. The Tijuana wings were better, I guess being a dry rub but they still didn’t give what I was expecting. The fries were good but half of them were dark brown, had to be because they were sitting out and not being refrigerated. I hope this was just an off night, but even still. I loved the bartender and the atmosphere, maybe I’d come back for drinks but probably not food.

Come spend your money here! The burgers are phenomenal and this is easily one of my favorites in New Orleans. Come for a wide variety of beer, insanely good burgers and fries, or the wonderful atmosphere. I love getting the pickled Cobb salad with chicken and splitting the Tijuana fries with my boyfriend. This spot has casual (but so cute) decor and always has a variety of movies playing. I come for the sour beers but the frozen Irish coffees are some of the best in the area. Super friendly, junction has something for everyone and the staff are so helpful and friendly. My favorite burger here is the Kansas City Southern being from Missouri ❤

Disappointed tonight Junction, cant lie. $ 11.00 is a LOT to pay for a hamburger to begin with. ($12.00 w cheese added.. $13.00 w a few fries on the side.) But this burger is overcooked (not pink inside like your menu claims), the flimsy film of lettuce is has a big black spot on it, the extra dollar's worth of cheddar cheese looks like a glopped on afterthought. I live in this neighborhood, I'm a regular customer. But if you guys aren't going to put the effort and care into preparing a worthwhile product, then I'm looking for somewhere else to buy my overpriced hamburgers.

This was one experience I will not forget. And, I wish it was for good reasons, but it is not.

We have been going through the Bywater Top 10 and decided this was next on our list!

We arrived at around 6:00pm. Not many people there. The order taker was kind and pleasant. We placed our orders and found a seat outside. Quite some time passed...40 minutes! No food. Our beverages were getting low, so I went inside to check on the food and order another round. The order taker was also the bartender. She apologized for the delay. She said next round was on her. I went back to our table outside. The sun began to set and it got a bit chilly so we moved inside. Another 20 minutes passed. I again asked about the food. Another, "I'm so sorry!" However, this time we were able to see patrons who came in after us come and go. All getting their food to-go or were served. Another 20 minutes passed. No food. At this time we decided to cancel our order and pay for the beers. I waved the order taker/bartender/waitress over and asked about the food again. Another, "I'm sorry" and how about I buy you another round. We declined and asked for the check. She said the beers were on her. We left. As we were walking back to the car trying to decide on an alternate place to eat, the order taker/bartender/waitress came running up the street with our food. She handed it to us and said not to worry about paying and apologized again. (This is where the first star comes from). We got in the car. Opened the containers. Grabbed a fry and hungrily ate it. It was cold and had way too much seasoning on it. I mean, like someone purposefully dumped the entire season container on it. I took a bite of the burger, same thing! Cold and way too much seasoning. So...in conclusion...the all-round experience sucked. We won't be back. I would say the brews weren't that bad. So, there is the reason for the...

My family and I came to try to eat dinner here. ABSOLUTELY RUDE WAITRESS/BARTENDER. We tried calling ahead of time to ask if we needed reservations. We called at least 5 times throughout the day, all different times, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to go try it out anyway, so we arrived around 6 pm. The bar was moderately busy, not empty but not packed either. We sat down and no one came to take our order for about 20 minutes. They only had two workers at the bar. After the long wait I got up to the bar to ask the female bartender if she could give me an estimate on the wait time, I literally did a stopwatch count to see how long I will go to get someone's attention. NO one ever tried to help me. At this point I am thinking about just leaving, but having been a bartender before myself, I get that you can have nights where you may be busy but not look it. I decided to give them one last chance. I go around the bar, near the area where the female bar tender is chatting away with another employee and I ask: "Hi, sorry to bother you, do you know if anyone can take my order...?" She proceeds to tell me loudly: “you need to move from where you are, this is the worst possible place you can be standing at” Fine, so I move but I say: “Sorry I just have been trying to get you attention and…” She interrupts me and says: “You see all these people, they all ordered food ahead of you…” “We’ll take your order when we take your order”. I didn’t say anything else; my family was able to hear some of the conversation so when I started to walk away, they were already up and moving towards the exit. Needless to say, we’ll never be back. Shame because apparently the food is good, and I was really looking forward to giving them my patronage as we live...

We had a good lunch, but it wasn't as great as the reviews here made it out to be.

Our burgers were ordered medium and medium-well and they all came out well done. They had great flavor, and the toppings were all well selected but they were a little dry from being over cooked. The flavor from the bun really saved the whole burger.

The house chips were stone-cold.

The fries are fresh cut but don't appear to be blanched or soaked, they just taste very starch yand are very dark. The loaded fries appeared to have been left under the Sally for too long. The fried pickles are OK, they lack flavor, a slightly thicker pickle would go a long way, the breading stuck nicely and they are definitely better than pre breaded frozen pickles,

The server/bartender was efficient and friendly, kudos for a great job.

Ultimately, I feel the value for the money is a little lacking, a $16 burger could come with .20 worth of house cut fries and not charge extra for them.

As far as atmosphere, it is a dive bar in an odd area surrounded by dilapidated houses with limited on street parking along a very busy road. The interior is dusty, the table was sticky and you could see grease bulb up on the kitchen walls from the...
