I am giving two stars because the quality of the food was really good and met my expectations. That be it said I must comment about the service or lack thereof. I just moved into the neighborhood and liked the fact there was a McDonalds a few blocks a way. In general I like McDonalds and like the new display-order method. It is much less of an menu eye-strain. Last Saturday night around 9 pm I popped in to grab a few sandwiches to go from the dollar menu. I was pleased to see only two folks ahead of me not placing an order but waiting figuring this will be relatively fast however to my dismay not hardly. One gentleman ahead of me had received some of his food but not all. There appeared to be some order mix up. He was very patient. There were two children leaning against the counter with order number ticket in hand. They were patient though appearing tired from standing there likely for some time. I noticed their parents and other sibling seated waiting for their food that the children were to retrieve. It was well after dinner hour and they were not busy at all nor understaffed. There were a number of employees just standing around in the kitchen area socializing and having good time. I had placed my order on the display and had order number choosing to pay at the counter. I stood waiting for at least 10 minutes and thinking perhaps my order did not register though having order number. The gentleman with the mixed up order stepped aside still waiting and the two kids still waiting. I approached the female employee at the cash register asking if my order had been placed. She looked for and I got the impression it had not or overlooked. So I placed the order again and paid receiving an new order number. She was very polite and thanked me. I then stood patiently waiting watching in dismay as the employees were engaged in social activity displaying zero concern for the customers waiting. After 15 minutes or so the gentleman who was there when I arrived finally got his complete order.. I heard no "sorry for the wait" or such. The two kids who I figured from the looks of things must have been there a half hour that point were still patiently leaning against the counter waiting to retrieve the food ordered for their family waiting patiently in the dinning area. I felt really sorry for them. The one male employee socializing appeared to on occasion interject something about an order placed acting confused and then would resume socializing again. An apparent employee came into the store where the staff attended to her needs immediately while displaying no concern for the customers I and the two children waiting patiently. No "sorry for the wait guys" or anything. At this point I had been in the store for at least a half an hour, the poor kids, who knows how long. I was amazed and astonished more than anything else watching all this. I just decided to wait it out. If I had not already paid, I would have walked out. Then the male employee came out and exclaimed my order number though I and the children the only ones there. Then he said two burgers and a Mac-chicken. I said "Oh that is mine thank you." It was funny as he looked out over the dining room but not in my direction not acknowledging me at all as though I was not there. He then like in one motion literally tossed the bag airborn and open onto the counter while turning his back and walking away never at any point acknowledging the customer, I nor the kids. Not saying thank you, sorry about the wait, or anything. In my opinion it appeared that he intentionally made it a point to display we were not there or too insignificant to acknowledge. I was just astonished. . I was there total time of what had to be at least 40 minutes. I proceeded to leave with my order. I looked back at the family waiting for their food, the father looking at me throwing his hands in the air with dismay. Though this particular McDonalds is conviently located nearby, I will likely never visit...
Read moreMany times, I have thought to myself, "Wow, that was an unsatisfying fast food experience. Maybe I'll warn others with a bad review." Not many times have I gone through the trouble of actually doing so. However, my repeated and worsening, dissapointments with this particular establishment have brought me to this. Extremely slow service. The buns and biscuits are incredibly stale. I couldn't eat my fries because they were cooked in oil that should have been changed at least 3 days prior. They never have salads or salad wraps. Apparently their ice cream machine is always down. After midnight, not even half of the menu is available. The order is rarely correct, and if you get all your food, chances are they forgot to give you sauce for your nuggets or consider your topping requests on your burger. My husband's chicken nugget was so hard one time that he threw it against the floor as hard as he could and it didn't even dent or break. The parking lot is always filthy with litter at night and on a recent late night trip, there was a girl sitting, parked next to the drive thru line, across from the window where you receive your food, who appeared to be running back and forth from her car to the window between customers to joke around with and receive food from the woman inside. Then she would go back to her parked car to eat the food and stare at the girl inside until the customers pulled away. I don't know what is going on with this McDonalds, but with how many horrible experiences I've had with this particular establishment in the drive-thru alone, I would hate to know what's going on behind the scenes. You're better to starve than...
Read moreIf I could put no stars I would but I had to put something so I put one! The girl at the first window was leaning out the window smoking a blunt with the car behind me the person at the front window refused to add a chicken sandwich on to my order because she doesn't have a register at that window but then a gentleman walks up from the parking lot to the window and adds to things to his order that he got before me! Everyone was black and I'm white not saying that I'm racist or that it was a racist thing maybe it was just a coincidence but I do know that the young handsome black man got to place his extra order of fries and Nuggets while I had to drive around and get back in line to place my extra hamburger order because there's not a register at the second window lol and all this was done while the inside was closed I was under the impression that the drive-thru windows were not allowed to speak to anybody on foot because it was against policy for safety purposes but they sure did not only speak to the gentleman but took his extra order while refusing to take mine LOL what a coincidence! Such a great place that I would not go to that McDonald's if it was the only McDonald's in the world I would just never eat McDonald's again I mean to be honest McDonald's isn't that great anyway they've gotten worse and worse over the years I mean the people who worked at that specific location made me wonder did they even have a GED or high school diploma because they were just...
