Tried visiting this canes on September 26 at about 10:40 AM. I don't frequent this area very often, but l have a customer that is nearby. When I visit my customer I usually stop in and get lunch at this location. I drive a commercial roll-off truck that is too big to park in the Cane's lot, so l park across the street in an empty lot and walk across. My job isn't the cleanest so l keep heavy hand cleaner in my truck to wash my hands. I put a dap of hand cleaner in one of my hands and usually walk into whatever restaurant I'm at and go straight to the restroom to wash my hands before eating. Their restroom is locked with a keypad so l asked the cashier, how do I get in the restroom? Then I was greeted by Mr. Tim. I did not know he was the manager at this time, but he told me that l have to make a purchase before I can use the restroom, I open my hand and showed him the hand cleaner all over my hand. I told him I needed to wash my hands first. He told me that it doesn't work that way. I said well if I can't wash my hands first, I'm not gonna dine here & you're gonna lose a customer. He said that was fine. I walked all the way back across the street aggravated and then decided that I should go back and ask for a manager to give the manager the opportunity to fix this employees problem. I did and learn that "Tim" was the manager on duty at this time. I asked him if he was sure he wanted to lose a customer over not letting them wash their hands and he said a policy is a policy. I said well that's fine I'm sure Cane's appreciates you sticking to the policy and walked out. There is a reason they only have 2.5 stars. I will add the cashier @ the time was really sweet. When I walked in the door she greeted me with a "Welcome to Cane's"...

My experience here was great. For a first time Raising Cane’s experience, I was thoroughly pleased that the food lived up to the hype.

It didn’t take long for our food to be ready. I got the box combo which came with four chicken tenders, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a drink.

The coleslaw was surprisingly very good – sweet, crunchy, and savory. It was definitely a welcome change of flavor and texture with the other heavier food items.

The Texas toast is insane. I could legitimately eat only that and be happy. It is served hot and is extremely flavorful. It has a little bit of crunch on the exterior, but the interior is soft and buttery. I can’t do it justice trying to describe it in words.

The chicken is on another level. The chicken tenders were super crispy on the outside while being very delicate, tender, and moist on the inside. Easily some of the best chicken tenders you will get at a fast food establishment. Their Cane’s sauce is a tangy, savory sauce that had a very mild hot sauce and garlic flavor embedded in what I assume is a mayo, ketchup, and like a Worcestershire sauce. Whatever it is, that is liquid gold.

The best part about the experience here at this food court is that you can then take the food and eat it right outside right next to the river. It’s a beautiful spot to relax by the water and...

I went into canes to purchase meals for my 6 member family but I had to use the rest room so bad and my family did not know what they wanted to eat as we have NEVER been and we have always wanted to try this place BBBUUUUTTT the person waiting on us made me purchase and pay for a drink before allowing me to enter the bathroom. I was trying so hard to hold it and when he FINALLY took me to the bathroom bc they have to unlock it he said that I would have to push this button to lock it. So as I am shutting the door, pressing the button And pulling my pants down to keep from using the bathroom on myself he went and told my family “since she wants to slam doors you all can just leave.” I came out of the bathroom smiling at my family bc we were going to finally try canes just to be told that the guy names Gio had been rude to them. So I confronted him where he proceeded to tell me I was basically lying and that I did slam the door intentionally. This was very disturbing and hopefully one day we will get to try canes just not from this location. Weird behavior I hope dude had the day he deserved. So I spent 3.00 on a drink to go use the bathroom and I have a large family this would have been a pretty good sale for Cane’s it’s a shame...

Gotta Love Raising Cane's but for pricey food they need to have more portion with the chicken strips an fries the Raising Cane's at the Chef/ Gentilly location does add give proper portions of the food the portion size on the photo above is the amount given at McDonald's with a kids happy meal the chicken fingers is sometimes premature small an when the size is off it should be an extra chicken strip added I've purchased the Caneyak Combo Meal an it's the same thing happening small portions serviced an that is the most pricey Combo meal an also they are rush the cooking process on the fries the employee crew members is pulling the fries up before the time alert comes on to pull the food how I know this because ive got half cooked fries with no salt also sometimes no salt is added on the fries I love Raising Cane's but Chef & Gentilly location need to do better every other location I've been to service is great such as Caliborne ave. An the Slidell location everything is on point everything is cook fully fresh an hot the portions is the right size serving just like the Raising Cane's I 1st fell in love with
