Subway — Restaurant in New Orleans

Stopped by this Subway on Carrollton around 12:45 PM on August 2nd. I ordered a box of cookies and paid in cash. The clerk told me the total and even said the exact change I was supposed to get back — but when it came time to give me my change, he just handed me the bills and kept the 82 cents. This wasn’t a mistake — he stated the amount out loud and chose not to give me the coins.

I didn’t say anything in the moment, because honestly, if someone’s trying that hard to scrape up spare change, it’s not worth the energy. But I won’t be going back. There’s another Subway just down the street, and I’d rather spend my money where I’m treated with...

Four stars because the food and staff have always been great at this location. I do not want to make them pay for one person's actions. However, the owner of this establishment hit my parked car and didn't have the decency to even discount a damn sandwich. As someone who owned a restaurant for 6 years, let this be a lesson in customer service. Accidents happen. The $2 food cost you would have spent is a lot cheaper than the review I give every time someone asks me why I'm in a rental car. Word of mouth matters. This is the worst sandwich I’ve ever had from a Subway!!! The bread crumbled in my hands, and no, it wasn’t toasted because the cheese was not melted. Just old, stale loaf with a strange (old bread) smell. A veggie delight missing red onions completely, maybe 5 pieces of bell pepper, herb and garlic oil all in one spot. So I basically received a loaf, with lettuce, spinach and a couple pieces of bell pepper with some herb oil. Unfortunately a delivery order that cost me $17, thankfully Grubhub refunded the $7.00 sandwich but now I’m out $10 and still need to eat. I’ll never order from this...
