Y'all!!!! Oh, my gracious!!! I don't know who is running this joint, but it is obviously someone's realized dream! When I tell you that you can taste the love in every bite, I mean EVERY-SINGLE-BITE! I'm not one to venture outside of my comfort zone when it comes to restaurant food, so I didn't. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and decided to avoid reading the details. Boy, was I pleased! Fluffy eggs, perfectly cut and cooked bacon, and pistou on ciabatta. These last two ingredients would have been a hard no for me. Apparently, I've never had a real and fresh ciabatta because this bread was the most amazing bread I've ever had in my life! And pistou? Uhhhh, no thanks. Have mercy! This tasted nothing like what I had imagined bright green mush would taste like. Heaven. It tastes like heaven🥰

Tartine (Google definition: a slice of bread with a sweet or savory topping) is easy on the wallet, big on taste, full belly without the sluggish feeling you get after a heavy breakfast, must visit kinda place!

My kids were not as thrilled as I was, so I let them grab various fresh baked goods like the blondies, lemon poppyseed cake, and pumpkin loaf. They gobbled them down super fast! I did get a bite of the lemon poppyseed cake, and I instantly regretted not buying every slice they had. Crunchy outside, perfectly moist inside with great flavor. The cinnamon roll was pretty good, too!

10/10 RECOMMEND! Visited...

Alright to good sandwiches, salads and breakfast type items like bagels, scones, brioche and quiche. The coffee, tea and other drinks are now self-serve and on my last visit they seemed to be out of fresh coffee and had older lukewarm coffee that tasted watered down and blah. They used to serve great fresh coffee in a French press brought to your table but now the coffee is stored in a thermos you pump it out of. The ambiance of the inside just isn't inspiring to me while the outside patio is better in nicer weather. The location looks like somebody decided to open a restaurant next to their office and the parking is less than fun to deal with in the area. Most things here are probably around a three or four star when they are done properly but having bad coffee is just not an option in a joint like this. Seems like the quality has gone down here and gotten inconsistent. Granted I'm not much of a breakfast person so this is just not my favorite spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch but many folks love it. The baked eggs in brioche are one of the standout items here that you don't find in most other places in the area so you might enjoy sampling that. Overall they do offer some items that not many other places do while I'm sad the quality seems to have dropped off over the years.

Probably my favorite breakfast spot in the city - I’m usually an adventurous eater and make a point of ordering something different every time I go to a restaurant, but every single time I’ve been here (10+ easily over the years) I can’t stop myself from ordering the liver pate tartine. The food everyone else orders looks, smells, and tastes fantastic from what they’ve shared with me, but that house made liver pate is just special. A perfect blend of savory with a touch of sweet from the jam. Just put your preconceived notions aside and trust me on this one. And don’t forget the bean salad thing they serve, it’s so good with just a touch of creaminess in whatever the sauce that comes with it is. I don’t know what it’s called, nor do I care, I just know I want more of it.

The setting is cute, even if seating can be a little sparse given the small space. If that’s the case, just get take out. I promise it’s worth it. Service is fast and friendly. The outdoor seating area is pet friendly too!

5/5, 10/10 - a perfect brunch spot for locals that deserves...

Little hole in the wall that I literally drove past dozens of times before I tried them. We had a turkey sandwich and a steak salad. For dessert I grabbed a piece of their king cake. The turkey sandwich was nice. The bread had a nice "chew" to it and the cheese went well with the turkey. We were a little disappointed with the steak salad. The salad and dressing were good, but the steak was a little "gamey". I don't know if this was due to the marinade or the preparation. Save room for a piece of the king cake. Dang, this was one of the best that I have tried in the city. I go back just for the desert.

Tartine is a quaint cafe just blocks away from Audubon Park. It’s the perfect place for a quiet breakfast (at least when I went on a weekday morning.) The first thing you’ll notice is the scent of smoked turkey and bacon wafting from the restaurant. There are ample outdoor tables to bring your four-legged friend. The food is fantastic. I had the baked eggs in brioche. It was hearty and delicious. I ordered a side of bacon which was perfectly crispy. Tartine moves to the top of my list for breakfast spots as the food is great and it’s away from the bustle of tourists near the Quarter.

One of my all-time favorite places. Just the best brunch spot, and their breakfast is amazing! Very cute and clean with french country decor & a nice outdoor patio. Service is always great and the prices are really reasonable for what you get. The tartines are perfect, but their ever changing breakfast sandwiches get me every time. I'm never disappointed! I even love the bean salad that comes with the sandwiches, and I hate beans lol. It's an easy place to miss, in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but parking is ample & it's totally worth the search!!!
