The Audubon Clubhouse offers happy hour Monday through Friday 2-5 pm and extended happy hours with a live band unil 7pm on Tuesdays. Plus amazing deals on food. Why pay $10.00 for a cocktail when you can pay $6.00 for specialty cocktails and wine in a Brennan family operated property with a commanding view of Audubon Park. Unprofessional and misinformed personnel on the front desk. They answer the phone with an angry "hello". They don't even mention the guest house by name. They don't know when they have a happy hour and when they don't. Don't bother!!! If the front desk personnel is this dysfunctional imagine what the back of the house is like. I don't know the owner. A lovely new spot for a drink in a unique, New Orleans setting. The Gilded Perch is a welcome addition to the New Orleans bar scene. You can either sit on the porch overlooking Audubon Park and St. Charles Avenue or inside in the beautiful, elegant hotel lobby on comfortable sofas. If you want a place to have a quiet drink without having to deal with the traffic and crowds of the lower Garden District or downtwon, this is a perfect place.
