what would normally come in a Chinese rice/fried rice container comes a snowball. this has made them stand out and maintain popularity in the snowball business. SNOWBALLS only. no pickles/nachos etc. depending on what time you go you may experience a wait. it’s located in a residential area so parking is free. no bathrooms available to public. there’s a bench if you decide to sit and enjoy. the neighborhood is also beautiful for a nice stroll. not far from st charles st / streetcar line

Our family absolutely loves Plum Street Snowballs. My husband’s grandparents had their first date here, so it feels very full circle that we now visit with our own family. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, always making you feel welcome. Our family’s favorite flavors are blackberry cream, strawberry cheesecake, and mint, but you truly can’t go wrong with any of them. We look forward to making many more memories at Plum Street for years to come.

I was so excited to try Plum Street only to be sooooo let down. if i’m paying $9.75 my snowball should have some syrup! this thing was dryer than a desert! sure the condensed milk was delicious but that was only .25 worth! for all the hype i hear this was such a bust. i added a photo because i need yall to see the hard ice i was given. my friend asked for light syrup and hers was juicy! bet you can’t even tell i ordered two flavors!

I used to loveeeee plum street snowballs growing up. Brought my boyfriend here from out of town so I could show him my favorite snowball stand… but the lack of organization and the wait was a huge disappointment, so we ended up leaving snowball-less.

There was a young girl doing her best to pass out snowballs to those who had already ordered, but no one was helping take NEW orders despite the growing line in front of the ā€œOrder Hereā€ sign. No acknowledgment of the line from employees. We waited for 20 minutes to place our order until finally deciding to leave since no orders were being taken.

I would estimate that there were 12 people in line waiting to place their order, and about 20 people waiting to receive their snowball today. It was a wild sight. Not sure how a relatively simple preparation of shaved ice & syrup can create such a scenario.

Hopefully I’ll have a better experience next time we visit. Will...

We went there and they were trying to make use to make a fast decision and made them really really messy. The girl who filled my cup filled the juice all the way to the top of the cup until it was spilling out and the flavor I chose(strawberry) was already strong if i barely tip the cup and juice would come out. I went back up to ask for more ice, she gave me some ice but like threw it at me and ice spilled everywhere on counter and handed me the same plastic bag that had suryp all over it. If I pay for something I expect something worth it like actual nice employees and not throwing ice on me. Would not go there if you are diabetic either so much sugar but not...

DISAPPOINTED TODAY - Hello - As a loyal customer & hospitality worker, I just wanted to let you know that the young lady that was there today around 5pm or so that was filling the cups with ice was not friendly! She had on a pink shirt. But the other 2 ladies that were on the register as well as putting the syrup on were very kind. I understand they were hot and probably frustrated but paying customers should never experience not being treated kindly. We didn’t even get a hello. She just rudely asked us what size. It wasn’t even crowded as normal for her to act that way. Thx for reading but please remind them we are...
