This was my first time at Oak and Ale and it wont be my last. A unique and delicious menu with something for everyone. Split up into three sections i think the wine and cocktail lounge was my favorite as well as the patio. The frozen aperol spritz is a must try! The staff is very friendly and as busy as they were they were extremely attentive and answered questions we had. The charcuterie board was delicious and the fries are a must! My dad had the beef tacos and those were equally as delicious.

After a 15 hour drive down from Chicago to New Orleans, this place was a sight for sore eyes! Our wonderful Airbnb hosts suggested this local spot, which was walking distance from our apartment. We had delicious wine, marinated olives, and a delicious cheese plate! The atmosphere was chill and inviting. It was the perfect place after a long drive. We will be back!

Oak seemed to me as more a wine and cocktail bar that serves food than a restaurant. The food is good it just doesn’t seem to be the main focus, primarily small plates. Service was friendly and prompt. The live entertainment was was very good without being overwhelming. Overall a nice place to spend some time.

Upon entry there were no signs or hostess to let you know if you were supposed to wait to be seated or where to place your order, then it took a while to get the attention of the bartenders (which is apparently where you place your orders). Lovely ambiance/decor, live music was delightful. However, AC was blasting and made it uncomfortably cold so we opted for the shared patio which to our dismay smelled like cigarettes because of another patron smoking. Menu was also very limited in both food options and cocktails. Cocktails were great. Food had great flavor however literally everything but the hotdogs and potato chips were too salty so it overwhelmed the wonderful taste of the brussel sprouts, the sweet potatoes w/queso, and the...

I've talked to numerous bridesmaids and groomsmen, and we all had an amazing time. The food was excellent. Everyone loved the chicken and the grits, and they enjoyed the drinks. You guys had everything set up nicely. I didn't have to call and check or update you on anything. Here are some quotes from the group: "It went well." "I enjoyed myself. Chill little pregame vibe. Food was good and drinks were good." " It was a great setup. I've been there before but didn't realize this was the place it was at. It was awesome"

We walked in and you guys had blue wristbands and things set up for the event. I greatly appreciate it. Everyone had glowing remarks...

Our office of 30+ full time employees is located just upstairs from Oak. We've been here for almost a year and haven't gotten sick of the food, wine or service at Oak yet, and we probably never will! The spread of food Oak provided for our company holiday party was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect for hosting our employees and their guests. Wine Down Wednesdays are a favorite of our crew, who always enjoy the half-off bottles. We can't leave a review without mentioning the food. Fried pickles and debris fries are the best around. If you're looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy a glass of fine wine,...
