I went to Frosty Boy and noticed they did not open until 2 due to short staff issues . This was not a problem . I decided I would wait seeing it was 1:45 pm for them to open . That’s what I did first in line and ordered my food and they had register problems with receipt printing so went ahead and paid and young kid who was fine had no issue w him said I don’t have your copy because of the issue I mentioned so he said to wait . In the mean time a very nice elderly lady who was waiting along with me for them to open n was at other window same problem paid and ordered and a just a short time got her order . In the meantime it’s getting real busy and I noticed my order was not ready and other orders being handed out left and right . . So I then approached the window where I was told by a manager oh we didn’t get that due to register issues and I did not appreciate the lack of a common courtesy by saying I am sorry . Nothing at all ! I just got a refund and she still had a devil may care attitude . Never going back and will tell all of my family and friends...

The owners of this place lack any creativity or ability to improve this place. Every year they open up with the exact same problems as the previous year. They've made zero efforts to reaolve their drive thru problem. I've even told the manager a creative way to reroute the drive thru ao it didnt block 90% of the parking spaces.

They still continue to take orders last minute at the drive up window... losing valuable time and efficiency in preparing orders ahead of time. Nor do they take advantage of the small Army of kids inside that tiny space... and have them run orders out to cars and get that congested drive thru moving.

Last and worse of all is that they work those kids to death in that cramped space.....and pay the absolute minimum wage. This place is non-stop lines from opening day to season closing and the owners are to cheap to pay those kids a little better than that!

Regrettably I get dragged to this place once or twice each summer..... other than that I refuse to go to this...

I love this place! But hadn't been in years, and I always used the drive-through before. They were very busy, which is understandable. However when we placed our order we did not get a number (they were calling you up by numbers) when they did call our order which was before the few people waiting ahead, we didn't know until they called out what the order was(only like a min later). Which is okay, it happens when you're busy. But I got a sundae that was mostly melted when I received it, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5. If I order ice cream and it's made and handed off in 1-2 mins it shouldn't have been half soup in a bowl. The other item on the order was not mostly melted, so I am left confused about why. Overall would highly recommend, perhaps avoid the sundaes though. And be aware its very much a teenager hangout, and they take over any seating or surrounding area. Best to go during school hours or hit the drive-through and...

It's what you might expect from a small town drive in. It's as much a part of the town and it's history as anything, and as such, there are bound to be changes, both pleasant and otherwise. However, you'll always find it busy on a nice day. With some effort, it could be something better, but as it stands, it is fine. They have burgers, chicken fingers, and tenderloins that aren't offensive. The fries used to be special, but now they're just ok. The ice cream is fine, although the crunch topping is delicious. Besides chocolate and vanilla, they alternate between orange, pineapple, and strawberry whips each week. These are probably the best ice cream they have. The shakes and slushes are also very good. It's well worth a stop if you are driving through in the warmer months. Expect a wait on summer evenings and weekends. If you're from the town, expect to run into some old friend to chat with in line. If you aren't, expect to make a new one!

I almost never leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to warn people before they spend money on something that could make them sick. First of all, this is definitely a pricier drive in compared to the others I've encountered. I would be aware of that before making a trip. The malt milkshake was good, though overpriced for the mediocrity. The hot dog, however, was absolutely awful. It was the same color and taste as the bread, which was sour and stale tasting. I had to spit it out because I'm convinced they were spoiled and would have made me sick. Absolutely not worth over 2 bucks. Again, I try not to be negative, but I wish there was a review like mine to warn me before I wasted my money. Just get the ice cream, avoid the food, it's overpriced anyway.
