Excellent Chinese food! A small, out of the way place. Very nice dining area, 6 booths, 2 smaller Cafe style tables for 2, also. But most of us waited in line for over 20 minutes for carry-out & it was worth the wait! This is basic Chinese food, but the items we tried were quite good. Like many Chinese places, the food is prepared fresh in the back, then placed in warming trays served up by pleasant, helpful staff. It was warm-not hot & right out of the wok like some places. They serve their dishes up as "single" (1 scoop) "double "(2 scoops), or "triple" (3 scoops). You choose the "sides". We choose "Double" "Bourbon Chicken with Steamed Rice & "Double" "Szechwan Shrimp" with Low Mein Noodles. Pint of Hot & Sour Soup was tasty. 6pc. Crab Rangoon was a bit sweet & great! Of course, you would expect their namesake "Pot Stickers" to be excellent-& they also were terrific. All this for $36.10. We ate 1/2 of each order of the main dishes with a nice amount left to eat later. All told, I highly recommend this place!
A recent visit was also excellent. The "Chrystal Shrimp"(a breaded shrimp with pleasant clear sauce & cashews) was excellent with Vegetables &Low Mein. The Crab Rangoon was quite tasty, as were the Pot Stickers. And the pint of Hot & Sour soup was hot & good. Still worthy of the 5 Star...
Read morePotstickers is very good. It shares a parking lot with Mamanitas. Everything was fresh. There were 3 different people leaving as I was going in. It's authenticish. I wanted to try several different things, so I got a pork egg roll, an order of potstickers, and a combo meal with fried rice, bourbon chicken and General Tsos. It was $20, and I'll get 3 meals out of it. I ate the egg roll on the way home. Made from scratch. Great flavor. Then I ate a couple of potstickers while driving. Fried just right, with 1 big piece of pork in the middle. No veggies. I ate just a little of the combo, and both chicken entrees had very good flavors. And the rice was great as well. If I lived in New Pal, I'm sure I would eat there once or twice a week. If you're already out that way, it's definitely worth stopping by. I'll probably go out there once or twice a month if I get a hankering for Chinese food. I mentioned to the young lady working that they kept popping up on my Facebook account, and she said that she's had people come in saying the same thing, and that they had driven from an hour away...
