This is by far the most incompetent Dunkin’ Donuts I’ve ever had the misfortune being within a 10 mile radius of. Please, for the love of God, do not place an online order or a mobile order at this location. Better yet, just don’t go here.
I remember one time when I placed a mobile order here, and they didn’t give me the item that I had ordered. I advised to the cashier I was missing my muffin. All she said was “Well, we don’t have it in stock.” I said, “OK that’s fine. However I’m completely missing the item I’ve already paid for. Is there any way that I could either get a refund or have an applicable substitute that’s equal to the amount of money I’ve already spent?” I couldn’t see any gears turning in her head, but eventually she turned around to get her manager. Her manager, who hardly had any more brain cells than she did, quickly advised I would have to contact Dunkin corporate. I protested that’s absolutely a ridiculous waste of time for a three dollar item. Eventually, we came to the brilliant conclusion to include an equal substitute rather than NOT giving me anything.
Never in my life have I seen a place with such difficulty substituting a muffin for another flavor of muffin. The worst part of it all is that they were just hoping I would drive off, not see my item was missing, and just not make a stink about it.
That fine memory brings me to my Uber Eats order today — a half dozen donuts, half wrong. I should’ve known better given this Dunkin’s track record of intelligence.
Three strawberry sprinkled donuts substituted with three chocolate sprinkled donuts. Two vanilla frosted sprinkled donuts substituted with just regular vanilla donuts with no sprinkles (I’ll give them the point on actually getting this flavor right, but I like the sprinkles they give me more joy than this dull Dunkin does). Leaving only ONE out of SIX donuts correct as ordered. I know many wouldn’t be mad at this substitution, however, I absolutely hate chocolate. There was a reason why I literally only ordered ONE chocolate doughnut — that one was for my husband.
Now here’s the thing, I’m aware this reads like a first world problem. I’m spending $35 on an Uber eats order that is probably half the price than if I were to go and pick up the order in person. Many would say, quit being lazy if you want to save money or the hassle. However, sometimes you just want it easy especially after a long, hard week of work. It’s a very simple concept: when you pay a premium for convenience, you expect it to be right.
Important to note here, I was not notified by Dunkin themselves that they didn’t have the correct donuts in stock. Whereas for example, Panera, has called me when an item I ordered was out of stock.
Again, I’m spending more time and effort writing this review for a Dunkin that should be wiped off the Dunkin map. However, unlike their scholarly employees 🧐 I would like to warn potential patrons they will be wasting their money here. You’re better off getting your coffee and donuts at the gas station.
America certainly doesn’t run on this Dunkin location—there’s no brain power to help...
Read moreSummary: We got the wrong sandwich made twice. The redone sandwich was still not made properly but we took it. The manager was unapologetic. I will do this in list format to make it easier to read. It took fifteen minutes to get one sandwich, an order of omelet bites and a iced matcha. This by itself was fine. It happens. Maybe they were busy at the drive-thru. I ordered a sourdough sandwich with sausage instead of bacon. After getting my order and pulling on to the highway, my wife informed me that the sandwich had bacon on it and not sausage. I turned around. I explained to the manager that I got the wrong order. I ordered my sandwich with sausage but it was made with bacon. She looked at the tag on my bag and said,” That says bagels”. Sure enough, someone put my order in the wrong bag in the first place. I assured her that it was not bagels inside and handed her my receipt. She said nothing. She just turned to the kid working the line and he started remaking my order. The kid remade the order and handed it to me. I checked the bag before I left. Bacon. It was bacon again. I put the sandwich on the counter, gained eye contact with the manager and said one word. “Sausage” She said nothing to me, turned to the kid again and he began remaking the sandwich. With bacon. Again. She caught him and began making the sandwich herself. I watched. She did not toast both pieces of bread so I have one piece of bread and one piece of toast. Finally, she hands me a sandwich with sausage on it. Her apology consisted of the words,” Here you go.” Yeah. She’s not sorry. That was my hour-long experience at this store getting the wrong sandwich twice before getting a half-cold hastily thrown together version of the one I ordered. With no apologies. I want to end with a positive. The cashier, Ashley (299046), was fantastic. Quick, friendly and had put in the order correctly. I have sent this to corporate. I will avoid this store...
