A Taste of Seafood — Restaurant in New York

WORST FOOD EVER!! This place should be called “A taste of NOTHING Seafood” because none of the food has any flavor! I ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese and potato salad. I also ordered a side of wings (3). The catfish and shrimp had NO seasoning on it AT ALL! The chicken wings were huge, but ALSO had NO seasoning on them! The Chinese restaurant chicken wings taste better than these! I read the reviews before ordering and saw that many people said the food lacked flavor and I just thought all those people didn’t know what they were talking about. But nope! It’s true, the food is terrible! This place acts like it will bankrupt them if they add any seasoning to any of the food! I forgot about the Mac and cheese…..it was just as tasteless as the other food. It was just noodles with a hint of cheese and no salt! Don’t get me started on the nasty potato salad….clearly it was made by people who have never tasted or ever made potato salad before! It was terrible too! If you like your seafood with seasoning and food with flavor, I would order from someplace else! Don’t say I...

On 12/23, I ordered from A Taste of Seafood via Uber eats for me and a family member. I spent $48. My family got a fish sandwich $8 which came with 3 pieces of whiting and, I got the four piece lobster tails with a side of collard greens $40. My family said that the fish sandwich was good and they would eat it again. My lobster tails were ok; the tail itself contained more flavor and batter vs the actual lobster; it's possible that the lobster wasn't fully battered/coated or that the coating came off is the grease; this led me to really missed that crunch and flavor. The collard greens had turkey meat in them, and were extremely salty; I even let my family try to make sure it wasn't just my taste buds. I was able to save the greens by adding the greens to a bowl and covering them in water and then reheating them in the microwave, then tossing the water; the flavor was preserved and I took away some of the salt. Considering the history of Taste of seafood Harlem 125th I was surprised...

I ordered a whiting fish dinner with a side of yams and collard greens (ordered an extra side too). The fish fell well below the standard I am use to having from other competing restaurants. The collards were the best part of the meal as my yams were "ungraciously" prepared.

Either my taste buds were off tonight or this meal was uninspiring and "pricy" for the poor quality in taste. I'm disappointed!

This spot "Taste of Sea Food" on Webster has "no environment", it's strictly take out, they have got to stop charging "sit in" restaurant rates for food that is to take out only. To make things worst, the meal was "low" in flavor.
