Bagel Land — Restaurant in New York

DO NOT PLACE ONLINE OR PHONE ORDER: You're better off going in person to order. Around 7:30-8:00am it gets very full in there Monday to Friday. Don't bother placing an online order, they have no idea about handling orders online and you'll receive your order wrong. I've lived in the same area for 20 years now, they were fine before and we've always ordered here in the past. However, they are rude in person and over the phone, don't be surprised if they hang up on you because they have zero communication skills or manners. Half the time they're talking amongst themselves instead of taking orders.

The food isn't anything to brag about either, many years ago it actually used to taste good. Now it's bland, the bread is always burnt and you're lucky if you get your eggs the right way (the eggs were overcooked). I know they know who I am since this incident happened recently, I honestly don't care. "We never received your order" is not an excuse for "We don't know how to use the platform that we advertise we use and have made no effort to contact said platform about any mistakes we might be receiving because we don't care about our customers". I could excuse the food but not the service, definitely on my list of "Places to never eat...

Terrible customer service. We placed an order online and it didn’t give us options for bagel choices etc so I called and told the man to please put the sandwiches on toasted everything bagels. We went over it four times. Food comes and the tuna salads are on cold plain I toasted bagels. I called and spoke to the gentleman who I spoke to earlier and he insisted his guy put them both on toasted everything’s. THEN he said that they gave the order before us the everything toasted bagels and we got theirs. He then proceeded to say they are busy and when I asked what I should do with the wrong order he said they are very busy again! I told him they are no good and will have to go in the garbage and he said fine. No offer to bring us the correct order. Nothing. Very disappointing. We order at least four times a week for the office and spend hundreds of dollars. They won’t be getting...

I have been ordering with bagel land for a long time through Uber eats and they always followed my instructions until today, I ordered a roast beef hero with provolone cheese lettuce tomatoes Mayo and onion for 15$ before any taxes and fees and all I get is a roast beef sandwhich with just Mayo it’s common sense if you are paying 15$ for a sandwhich it should come with what the instructions stated.. the worker tells me that’s how it is and it doesn’t come with anything else, but yet you put Mayo on the Sandwhich which was part of the instructions but failed to add anything else, this is pure price manipulation and price gouging they are a bunch of thieves and I will never go back there ever again I will be sure to tell all the locals and spread the word on bagel land.
