Campania Coal-Fired Pizza — Restaurant in New York

My patient told me about this place an I order from them before but I feel hurt in my heart that they lie to me,i call to place an order through the phone,i given them 1 start because I don't blame the restaurant but the ppl they hired,because they will make ppl lost businessToday I try to order over the phone ,not once I ever had a issuse with them I given them my card number on the phone before because they food do taste good,but today wasn't right a young lady was taking my order over the phone an she said to me it didn't go through,so I'm thinking okay I have to call my bank because they put a hold on it,when I call the bank they said they not seeing any order place from campania so it had to come from there end,so when I hang up with my bank I call back this place to place my order again same young lady pick up I didn't get her name which I should.. Anyways she said to me that computer slow down that I have to call back 5mins or 10mins she can take the payment,which I did when I call back a gentleman take my order which he said he see it give him my same card number,okay again he said it declined I said how that I got funds in my account he said Ma'am I don't know I said okay so I told him don't mind forget the order okay, I call my daughter @ her job I ask her if she can pay for the food I'm trying to order let me hear what they would say so I an my daughter on 3way same order they would say her card declined that when it hit me they are racial they work @ this place an just because they don't know but they go by my voice they choose not to tak my order My card work perfect I order@ somewhere else an my same card want through I will make it known to ppl about this place.. 240 pageav staten island If I could get the ceo of this place an let him know ppl that u hired to work there need to not work there It may not happen to other ppl but it will happen again an u will...

Went in October for my birthday. Always had a great experience with the pizza and did not feel like going to city. Ordered mussels and fried calamari. Chicken scarpariello and the scallop special. Well now I know why most of the patrons in the restaurant had pizza. The mussels were flavorless we asked for white. The calamari undercooked. My scallops had to go back they were inediblly salty. Now to be fair manager brought out a plain order but we’re still salty as cooked in salted butter. My husbands scarpariello. He wouldn’t eat it and he was too embarrassed to send it back. The chicken seem to be steamed and the sausage as well.And it was broccoli rabe and cheese sausage. Steamed. He was afraid of getting sick. The service was lousy. Had to ask for butter. Had to ask for bread had to ask for water. To be fair the owner or manager, or however, was very accommodating, but we did not want to complain about too many things. The scallops were the big thing I guess when you go to a pizzeria, you should order pizza. Did not even stay for coffee. My husband refused to even take his Scarpelli home for the dog, fearing the dog would get sick. I have always had a positive experience here but then again, I have always only had pizza I guess I should have gone to the city as my birthday dinner...

Sorry to say I will not be going to this location ever again due to the insensitivity of the manager at the Page Avenue location. I called today to make a reservation for a party of 6 for this Sunday- Easter Sunday. I was told by the hostess that they only make reservations for 8 or more and we would have to come as a walk in. I explained that my elderly mom if 85 years old is disabled and has dementia could not stand and wait. I asked since we are a large party and close to 8 would they make an exception? After being on hold the hostess returned and said after speaking to her manager, he could not oblige because they needed to reserve space for the bigger parties and walk ins.
