BoomKidz — Attraction in New York

Just wanted to warn everyone about Boomkidz, as this is a place where we take out smallest kids and we should feel safe and secure....About two weeks ago I had my wallet stolen out of my backpack by an employee of this facility(young girl with long curly black hair). I am sure of it because I watched the surveillance recording together with Leon(I believe he is the manager of the place).he showed it to me when we where both unaware of what have happened, thinking m maybe one of the customers got it or I somehow lost it and the footage will show that... I was sitting on a bench in the slide room with bunch of people around me as it was presidents day and the place was busy. I could feel the girl watching me and my friend, but I thought it was for security ....well the footage showed exactly what happened.....as I got up to help my toddler, the girl (the employee) sat down on the bench with my backpack directly behind her back. next you can see her one hand reach behind her (to unzip the zipper) and the her second hand follows and reaches behind her. next she reaches underneath her sweatshirt to hide it. as I come back she is still siting there, I get uncomfortable and reach behind her to take my backpack away ( don't think to check in side because who would steal in a place like this and with so many people sitting so close together,+ she is there to make sure everything is secure... but still get a weird feeling) finally she gets up and heads straight for the bathroom. As she comes out of the bathroom you can see her fixing/ feeling an object inside of her sleeve. when I realized my wallet was missing she even told me to come back next day and talk to a manager because I started to make a scene. the wallet was there next day, but money and cards missing. she brought it down after I left and said one of the customers found it in the ball pit. after reviewing the footage of the entire day, the wallet was never there, so even if the footage of her stealing is not enough for the owners... she lied about how she got it in her hands and was able to bring back....I was told by Leon that he will talk to owners and they will reach out to me...no one did anything to show responsibility towards the customer. As of today the girl is still working there, they have not taken any steps to resolve the issue, except for placing a sign that they are not responsible for peoples property and have a meeting with stuff....as I walked into the place today I was told that they were advised by lawyers not to fire her, but the older lady in the front told me she will fire her right now on the spot... then she told me she has no authority because she is not the owner and then went on saying that I didn't loose much because when I found out I don't have the wallet I told her I was very upset about the wallet itself and pictures of my father who passed away not long ago, and I wasn't that worried for the money.....the owners did absolutely nothing to help me as the customer, when I was finally called by Luba today to address this( after I visited the place), she told me she is giving me her time by addressing the situation two weeks later, and I am offending her when I say they didn't do anything....so I ended the conversation there, because she feels offended and the person that was a victim in this whole situation should just stay quiet....just wanted to give you heads up if you go there with kids, especially if you run around after your little one, please make sure you have your belongings with you at all times. also if you ever lost money or wallet on the same day as you visited boomkidz, maybe you should look into it, because based on the way she stole out of my backpack I really doubt it was her...

Yelena was absolutely amazing, she was so hands on and made sure I was exceedingly happy! She worked closely with me to customize the party package according to my preferences, ensuring that every detail was perfect.

The food and beverage options provided were excellent. From fresh hot coffee to pizza for adults and children, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The presentation was impeccable, adding an extra touch of WOW to the festivities.

The packages offered excellent value for money, considering the quality of service and entertainment provided.

The ambiance at Boom Kidz is simply magical. The colorful decor, upbeat music, and smiling faces created an atmosphere of joy and excitement that truly made the party feel special.

In conclusion, hosting my child’s birthday party at Boom Kidz was an absolute delight. From the impeccable facilities to the outstanding staff, every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations. Absolutely horrific vendor for a kids party at the house and unprofessional! Never ever again!

UPDATE: Owner claims I never had a birthday party or there’s no contract after I left this bad review. Let’s not play those games. I have emails and texts confirming this. If you want, I can post a picture of her personally at my home at the party.

This text (in picture) was sent to me DAY OF the event. completely inappropriate. It’s a kids birthday party!

I used the website partycharactersforkids.com which is a separate issue that they told me it was going to be local. Will be leaving reviews all over the internet about this horrible experience. :) do not gaslight customers bad reviews. Take accountability for the poor service you provide!

UPDATE 2: since there’s no way to make another bad review. Party characters are at fault for them hiring you and I am dealing with them separately. YOUR business should have never contacted me on the day of a kids birthday asking me to do it at your place. Did you think people with families would drive to STATEN ISLAND last minute and pay tolls??it’s a 3rd birthday party! and I should have not been charged for a travel fee of $40. Your location is not 60 miles away as was told to me by party characters but you took the extra $40. I told the owner multiple times I have everything for the kids at my home. The kids were running around distracted but it was mermaids job to bring them together. she did minimal with the kids a tattoo put on their hand and bubbles and she didn’t bring a stick for limbo. She wore 0 makeup. She was not upbeat. The website said she would sing. I was not happy with how the kids were entertained. She wasn’t lively or upbeat just a body dressed up as Ariel which I could have had someone else...
