Central Caribbean Bakery — Restaurant in New York

I love Central Caribbean bakery, I used to always be in the one on Gunhill, and I know as someone who is also Jamaican, that we have a reputation for bad attitude especially in our restaurants. You go for the food not for the service. But off the bat, I walked in, this guy did not say anything to me. I ordered, he didn’t say anything, I asked him if they had gizzada, and he didn’t answer me, so I thought he didn’t hear me, I asked him 4 more times and he didn’t answer me, all he did was put my order in and tell me my total. Is he autistic or something? That was the most frustrating experience I’ve had all week,maybe all month. I will never spend a dime with this location again and seeing how empty it was when I walked in compared to the one on Gunhill, it’s probably because of this guys filthy attitude. Terrible customer service! I bought over $45 worth of goods. As soon as I entered the store he had a bad attitude. Granted, I have resting b* face too so I gave him a pass. He did not even greet me. I said “hello” and proceeded to put in my order since he didn’t respond back.

I’m glad this bakery opened when it did because the other location on gun hill road is a bit too far. The gentleman in the front is always pleasant and seems happy to help. He is always patient with me choosing which slice of cake I want along with my patty, hardo bread and bulla. Same order every time but it always takes me a while...
