I was visiting a friend out on Staten Island and we decided to grab lunch at this Jamaican restaurant and we surely didn’t regret it! We ordered different meals but the portion size was big enough that we could have easily shared a meal between the both of us and be satisfied. I decided on the jerk chicken and sweet chili shrimp. The chicken and the shrimp were surprisingly well seasoned and perfectly cooked and that illustrated to me the importance of customer satisfaction to this business. My friend decided on curried goat with rice and peas. I’ve never been a fan of curried goat but this restaurant proved me wrong! The goat was tender and not greasy at all and I was certain that it would be. We also got 2 oxtail egg rolls as an appetizer and we absolutely regretted not buying more. I definitely intend to visit that little gem again, even if I take a trip there just to get the food! Believe me… it’s that good. We took our food to go, but from the time we entered, the atmosphere was welcoming. Patrons are greeted with genuine smiles. The lady at the front, took our orders correctly and she was very patient with us as we struggled to decide on what we really wanted to eat. The restaurant itself was well lit and very clean and definitely encouraged customers to sit and eat! If you live in Staten Island or simply passing by, go in and try the food- you won’t regret it 😋

The food was good and the service was fine up until the bill. I realized that I was overcharged . The menu stated that the “Rasta pasta and chicken” was 23 dollars however on the bill they charged an extra 5 dollars for the chicken. Which makes no sense if the item listed on the menu is “Rasta pasta and chicken” and the listed price is “23”. Be aware coming to this place!

Drove past this place and saw the smoker out front cooking jerk chicken and pork. My husband and I walked in to order and the lady in the front was super helpful and so nice! The food was phenomenal and the oxtail was fall off the bone tender! I highly recommend this place! 10 out of 10!

Hi, I don’t really want to do this but I have to. I’ve ordered from here about 5 times and only the first time that I ordered Rasta pasta with jerk chicken was my food correct. All other times after that, my Rasta pasta with jerk chicken was not correct. My food was different every time AND was extremely runny with oil. My children even pointed it out. One time it had excessive cheese. It was just too much and for the price that I’m paying, I can no longer go on. The icing on the cake was just now when I ordered Rasta pasta with grilled shrimp. As soon as I opened it, shrimp served separate from the pasta. Ok cool. A TINY BIT of cabbage UNDERNEATH Noodles. The shrimp was overcooked, salty. I’m being honest, my dog kept turning his head from it and he’s greedy. I taste the grated Parmesan cheese, the texture on my tongue as if it didn’t blend well. And then ! My stomach, no less than 20 minutes later, my stomach is rumbling so bad. I feel nauseous and I’m pissed. My money doesn’t grow on trees. Very upset. My stomach is killing me. I literally just ordered maybe two hours ago. I haven’t ate ANYTHING all day. I was very hungry and now this. My...

From the moment we arrived, the ambiance at Drift 876 set the tone for an exceptional evening. The vibe is the perfect blend of chic and relaxed, with beautiful décor, warm lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home.

The service was top-notch — attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

Now the food — absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The oxtail was superb — fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, and seasoned to perfection. The seafood was also impressive and expertly prepared.

Drift 876 truly exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates great food, a beautiful setting, and impeccable service. We’ll...
