Mr. Rice — Restaurant in New York

This was a recommendation from a coworker. They give large portions, so if you’re hungry you will be satisfied. That’s as far as the positive review can go. I called 20 minutes prior and told them what time I’d arrive. So they had ample time to drain the oil from the chicken wings and egg roll. The food was greasy and bland. I ordered tofu with broccoli and vegetable fried rice, a side of chicken wings and an egg roll. Sometimes you don’t need the sauces that come with the meal, this was not one of those times. I had to use every single duck sauce and soy sauce that came with the meal. They did provide a fork but no napkins. Not to mention, the guy that took my order was not the least bit friendly. Over all, I cant recommend this place and could only give 1.5 stars for the amount of food given. It just didn’t have that typical flavor you expect when you eat Chinese food. This place discriminates people of color and it’s located near an area where you have diverse backgrounds. They state they can’t deliver near an area, when there’s no message stating that the area you’re delivering is “out of range”. The delivery driver’s are beyond disrespectful and rude, demanding a tip when they yell over the phone at you the moment they’re outside your residential area and although, you provide a tip they’re never satisfied unless you tip them the equal amount of your meal and if you don’t - you have a very high chance of having worker’s spit in your food, as I am speaking from experience and this location has a...

Kenny and Luis are brothers and are the owners of this establishment. I have been purchasing food from this restaurant since they initially opened several years ago. My common orders I get from the restaurant are the General TSO Chicken with House Special Fried Rice, Chicken Wings Fried Crispy, House Special Lo Mein, or Chicken or Shrimp and Broccoli with White Rice and Garlic Sauce.
