Forever Jerk — Restaurant in New York

Just came back from ordering from this place this my second time and I have to say over priced and I will take my money else where it’s always the girls they are extremely rude . They take my order far away I have to raise my voice to speak what I want. when you just want to ask a question about the food she did a horrible packaging job because I ask a question didn’t even hand me my food after I payed just packed it and walked away with a attitude this is the first soul food spot I ever went too that serve raw cabbage and I’m from Brooklyn . I also called before coming into the store too ask if the cabbage is cooked today or do they normally sell it raw she said it’s cooked as I went into the store I ask again she tells me it’s half cooked lol . Ox tails usually be good but today the food literally has big pepper balls as if they don’t grind the pepper correctly not trying to choke on pepper won’t be coming back to this store I rather go too the other soul food spot by the Q6 by McDonald’s but Unfortunately it’s closed...

I walked into this place not knowing anything about it yet willing to find out. As I walked in there was a sour face old woman sitting behind the counter; she never bothered to make eye contact, nor greet me, nor inquired if she could help me. Instead, I was under the impression that she was annoyed that I came into her space. She face was already sour and she had the audacity to screw up she face even more. With that I exited as quickly as I entered. That being said, I couldn’t possibly say anything about this place except that it was unwelcoming and didn’t seem to care if I bought something or not so I won’t bother to return. I do suggest however that if they want people’s business they should be more inviting to potential customers because you never know who is walking into...

I found a Piece of plastic paper in my soup :( I also found out the porridge was not regular porridge it was peanut porridge you have to inform ppl there is nuts in it due to any allergy . The lady did not inform it was a different kinda porridge . Other jamaican stores inform there will be a diff type of porridge. I see they have no grade Inspection on window but there is a picture online false advertisement and I took a chance with them .
