Read moreThe guy behind the counter was nice. He took our order in a timely manner and everything was ready in about 20 minutes. Everything was packed nicely and there were no spills. Parking was easy. Prices here are a bit less than some other places in the area.
Sadly the food here is so-so to bleh. And we tried a bunch of different foods.
The good: BBQ Chicken sticks are good. I would probably recommend that. Pork and broccoli is alright. The garlic sauce here isn't that tasty but its decent. About the standard fare one would expect from any Chinese takeout joint.
The bad: Asparagus and string beans with garlic sauce was not good. The asparagus was hard and stalky and not edible. String beans were ok. Fried chicken wings were just no good. Kind of edible but tasted bleh and dried out. Fried Scallops were very tiny and mostly breading. Definitely not worth it. Chicken dumplings were bland. And some of them tasted like they went bad. Nobody got food poisoning luckily.
The ...middle(?): Wantons with hot sesame sauce was interesting/ok. Though others really really didn't like it.
Overall it doesn't seem like I'll go back, but I'll keep them in mind if I want to try them out again. Maybe for the BBQ...
Read moreI placed an order in person for takeout, and when I got it home discovered it was completely different than what I ordered. (Shame on me for not checking the bag there, but why shouldn't I think they'd give me what I ordered?!) I called them, and the man very belligerently insisted that was what I ordered. Mistakes happen, but there's no excuse for putting words in my mouth and insulting my intelligence. I was so hungry I ate the incorrect order, but wonder if it was meant for someone else. Nonetheless, I am never patronizing them again. I'm giving them one star because Google won't allow me to post a review...
