I came in to get a rye bread sliced, the store worker was sitting at a table. He got up an didn't put gloves on, just took a couple of sheets of paper in either hand, and after slicing the bread, he put it in the bag, and with his bare hand, pressed the end of the bread into the bag. Previously, he put his bare hand in the bag to open it wide. I was annoyed but patiently waited at the counter to be acknowledged and nothing. A man walked in a few moments later and greeted the same woman as he walked to the back of the store. “Hello Maria”. Cheese danish also fabulous, and all other pastries, cakes ,rolls, and bagels! It’s a Jewish bakery they made fresh baked challah.Very pricey but still my favorite bakery...
