Craft beers and seafood is so delicious together here in this cozy casual bar vibe joint. Specialty items noted on two blackboards with neon chalk showcase just a sampling of the unique specialties they offer. I was lucky to have the chance to try this place out with a foodie friend that's been here before so ordering was easy. We tried the appetizer tasting where it's a selection of appetizers marked with the asterisk on the menu. The best was the Tako wasabi, which is octopus and cucumber with a hint of wasabi and seaweed to roll it together. Also very good was the fried oysters. For our entrees, we each ordered a bento box. Chilean Sea Bass for him and Pork Belly for me. Both were excellent. Totally recommend the bento as it's filled with little goodies such as kimchi, pickled onions, rolled omelette and fried chicken. It's also the best value. Paired with our beers (Pilsner and a Korean Terra), so satisfying. Highly recommend this place for their service as well. Waitress was attentive and always smiling.
I'm now a regular and highly recommend this place any dayof the week. Wait staff is very friendly and the fish is always spot on. Grilled mackerel...
Read moreI had a great time here with friends and my tiny family last night. The food was delicious and the vibes were comfortable and warm. It’s a very cozy spot perfect for a nice dinner, a date, or small celebration. The Chilean sea bass bento box was SO good. The fish melts in your mouth like butter, and the flavor is executed perfectly. The salmon poke bowl was also really good with crispy crunchy lettuce and toppings that paired perfectly with the sushi grade salmon. The food came out pretty quick in my opinion. The Hummy melon seltzer was super good, I will now be buying 4 packs of them from the store haha. The waiter we had was probably the nicest waiter I’ve ever had in flushing(I’m a local of 5+ years). He was really kind with a friendly smile and gave us good service. I liked that from where my table and I were sitting, we could see the kitchen and the chefs cooking. I will definitely be back and recommend this place...
Read moreI was told by my coworker that there’s a very decent, modern seafood place in Flushing. I love seafood, especially fish and here in Flushing, there’s not that many locations that have grilled, fresh fish. This place is open except Mondays, 5:30pm-midnight. I was the first customer on 5:30 sharp, the waitress was very accomodating. She’s very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested bronzini (I was considering between bronzini and chilean seabass) due to me wanting fish for a meal. The salad they offered me was fresh and the egg soup that came in a small stone cup was nice also.
Bronzini was great, couldn’t believe there’s a such decent place in Flushing. Very well cooked, not too salty, greasy and oily.
The atmosphere is very calm, I was the only customer there for the moment. Only a couple of tables but that makes it more attractive.
Definitely will come back to try the seabass. This place is a gem...
