Jamaican Flavors — Restaurant in New York

Yesterday May 11,2023 set it off for me at this location ! I only order jerk sandwiches from Jamaican flavors and this location always makes me lose my appetite . The coco bread is always dry and falling apart and the meat is hard . Anyways yesterday I paid for 2 jerk sandwiches with Apple Pay debit , when I got home I realized both sandwiches weren’t good(this is not the first time but no one has money to waste now adays and I was hangry at this point) . So I went back to get it remade but one of the staff members told me that’s the only meat they have right now so she told her coworker to issue me a refund . I was then told by the manager I couldn’t get a refund unless I have the physical card . I didn’t understand why I could just get a cash refund if I paid debit and you’re inconveniencing me ?! So I had to walk all the back home to get the card in order to get my money back . So in total I made 3 trips to back to the store with no food , NEVER AGAIN . I happened to pass this Jamaican Flavors yesterday, so I stopped to see what they had because I wanted dinner for me and my family. I ordered the curry goat, oxtail, and fried chicken with rice and peas along with 3 spicy beef patties! Can I tell you how DELICIOUS the food was. My husband and kids have been raving about the flavor of the food and how soft and succulent the curried goat and oxtail was. I also would like to mention how pleasant and courteous the staff was. Hardly you go in a jamaican restaurant and they greet you with good afternoon and thank you for stopping by. I now found the ideal Janaican spot. I Would NEVER Buy Food From ANY Jamaican Flavors Ever Again!! I Went Here Daily For Patties & Occasionally Some Cake. The Establishment On 243rd Street In Rosedale Was My Go To. I Went In On The 22nd Of Nov 2022 And I Bought 2 Slices Of Cake. They Sell Them 2 For $4 So I Bought 2 & I Also Bought A Patty.
