A vast community park filled with lush vegetation, beautiful tall trees, grass, a lake, small boardwalk bridges and many recreational facilities for fun activities with family and friends including (some sporting facilities require a permit):

2 Designated BBQ and picnic locations, one at the North East end and another by the South West end of the park.

3 Turf/little league baseball fields.

1 Mile bicycling and greenways.

Bocce courts.

Fitness Equipment.

2 Handball Courts.

1 Level 4 accessible playground with transfer platforms and ground level play features for children.

1 Spray shower.

6 Tennis courts (lessons offered).

Lots and lots of well built park benches.

Lots of open space.

In addition, this park has some lovely Greenway lamps that lights up the paths at night and many fireflies can be seen illuminating the environment which sets a good mood. If you're into bird watching, whether natural birds or iron ones, the park offers a chance to see a variety of migrating bird that often fill the trees of the park while they rest along the Atlantic flyway, and the aircrafts on approach to JFK airport fly very low over the entire length of the park which offers amazing plane spotting view that takes your breath away if you fancy that kind of stuff.

Overall a lovely park, so get out there, explore and stay...

Visit daily! Home to Park Walk 5 to 10 miles during my day! Fresh air, gr8 NYers! Activities for every1! This is where I do my best thinking on spiritual matters, where I brainstorm on business, shoot my videos for upcoming courses, watch ppl but most of all to socially interact with peers who have the same interests . . staying healthy, from young ones to 80+ yo Seniors! Farmer's Market each weekend (Sat and Sun) 8 - 4p until November 21 end of season! So stop on by . . . enjoy our Park any time during the week, relax and unwind, enjoy the scenery, exercise, play BBall, jog, run, walk, learn/play tennis, watch soccer and football games from community schools/neighborhood in the area! I've walked 500 miles since I've been here and lost several clothes sizes from 22 down to now 12/14 and enjoying the freedom of it! I have captured amazing shots . . . Hawks catching prey, feeding frenzy of waterfowl . . . however, I so miss my deer, red fox, beavers, raccoons, herons, eagles, turkey vultures, cicadas, etc., in some of the other areas I've live! From Country life to City life! See ya in future posts!...

Although it was a bit chilly this morning, the park was a lovely place to do some filming. I was not familiar with this park but glad I had the chance to work in it today. I saw many who took advantage of the bright skies as they jogged, walked, laughed, walk their dogs, or just shared some smiles with their friends.I am sure that the entire park is beautiful but I only got to sample a small area today. The trees are lovely to look at as one relaxes on one of the many benches placed in the park.

I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom area. The bathrooms need to be cleaned better and stocked better. They did have a "social distancing" sign which was a positive but I definitely recommend that it be cleaned more frequently. Now, more than ever we need to sanitize and protect one another as we all fight this horrible virus.

I don't have any pictures because I was on set but once the movie comes out I will edit my post. I bet you all can't wait. In the meantime, I have to go set back...

beautiful beautiful beautiful water pond sunny faces walking by, some exercising, Summer just taking a walk. Others are teaching the kids how to ride a bike for the first time, couples are walking hand-in-hand so as to say, 'aren't we glad that we made it past the Covic!! I really appreciate you. I really love this opportunity to share this moment in nature with you.' How often does that happen? There's a beautiful Cool Breeze. It's unimposing but soft enough to let you know that it is there almost like a warm welcome. I don't see a whole load of geese or any live birdies on the water, but I'm sure they're around here somewhere. I'm sure many beautiful birds called this place home. If you decide to come through just remember to keep your six feet distance from your fellow neighbor to protect you and them. To all our workers cops and ambulance maintenance delivery service Food Service. You guys are all the best and thank you for remaining open!!🤗🤗😁😊🥰
