Came here on a whim. I figured I'd give the place a try. As soon as we arrived it was blah. A host gave us a look and pulled out a paper that had a number on it, and that was that. There was a tiny waiting area with a bench I walked toward. Behind me, people were eating and there was 1 empty table (where we could've been seated). Anyhow, we waited. I could hear the man's stomach rumbling behind me. Lord, I was praying he wouldn't pass gas because I would be the first to die. They proceeded to call our number, and we were directed to a table in front of what appeared to be the kitchen area. Worst place ever! We could smell the gas from the stove. It was nasty. Right next to our table, there was a step where a man nearly collapsed on top of me. He didn't see the step and tripped. (Dangerous area, they need to remove this table from that area, kids running past there for the bathroom, a mess. Imagine a kid ran past oe someone trips as a waiter is coming out with hot food! A burn, a lawsuit. Danger!) Another thing is the curtains were closed on a beautiful bright sunny day! Are vampires eating there that these curtains had to be closed out?! I made sure to open mine. Then I proceeded to order my meal. It arrived but there was nothing to brag about. They gave us 4 little pieces of what looked to be rolls but swirled. They were the size of peppermint candies... you know the red and white swirls. Yeah, like that. They were ok. I ordered the burbon chicken and steak, this is supposed to be famous on their menu... it was nothing to brag about. The steak, it was hard, and the chicken was dry. My friend ordered the general tso's chicken he said it was just OK. He also ordered the buffalo wings, which he said was really good. Overall, this place needs to adjust their gas, they need to REMOVE that table particularly. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen, and open up them curtains. Let the sun in! Don't think I'm returning anytime soon and if I do... I hope to see a difference. $60 were spent here and I'd like to see a change....

Read moreThis place has a lot of history. I gave it 4 stars because, as good as it is, it used to be much better back when Nelson was around. If you recall Nelson, he was the Asian guy with gray hair and glasses that always smiled and came by to ask you how the meal was. The place has evolved both good and bad but overall has remained great. The menu has had some additions, making it an ever bigger menu. A lot of variety between seafood, Spanish food, and Chinese specialities. The taste is not bad but it used to be better. The restaurant is very busy, the seating arrangements work and can accommodate a large group. It's not as spacious as other restaurants but it's definitely not cramped. Very difficult finding parking, but has nothing to do with the restaurant. I overall come here once in a while, but when I do, I often remember what it used to be, and I miss it. If you've been here prior to 2006, you know what I mean. Otherwise, you're not missing out. I...
