Overall, good. I was told the oxtail was good, though they could use a little more flavor, but they were still pleasing to the pallette. The fried chicken was well seasoned and not greasy. The jerk chicken was delicious and just as brutal on the exit though lol. If you don't care for spice, don't do it. The curry shrimp was also delicious. The counter lady gave me life, as she was singing, dancing and smiling, ringing up our orders. The young lady preparing our order had the mean mug (lol stigma for Jamaican servers), but she also smiled at us too which broke up any of that. The price for all we ordered was really good. The restaurant isn't luxurious, not that it needed to be. It felt really family oriented and clean. Lots of patrons drove up, double parking and running inside, then going on their way. You could tell it was THE neighborhood food spot.

I placed an order around 12 noon for a delivery which took over 2hrs to get here. I called and ask for stew peas and what was used to cook it, I was told they cook it with chicken foot, oxtail and beef. When I got the food it was cooked with pig tail. I also ordered a fry chicken which was super dry on the inside. If you take a look at the picture you can see there’s salad mixed In with the food which non was added to the meal, just mixed. I wouldn’t order or recommend this restaurant even if I was dying of hunger. Ie** I was trying to not put a star but, it wouldn’t allow me to post so with that said I take back my one star

I saw the line inside and promised my stomach to treat it to a few meals. This Jamaican spot is takeout only. The staff is helpful, friendly, and ready to assist you. There is no one on their phone or distracted by side conversation. It's odd to see staff actually focus on the customers in Jamaican restaurant. They accept cash and cards. Bon Appetit!

I really, really want to give Mandeville more stars, but they’re killing me with the amount of rice they dish out for the meals. I order their curry shrimp and white rice meal all the time. It’s delicious! I mean finger-licking good! However, it’s 75% white rice and 25% shrimp. The other day I ordered a small curry chicken, it was 3 pieces of curry chicken and an entire container packed to the rim with rice. She literally had to force the little bit of salad into the container. I don’t know why we need so much rice. Don’t get me wrong—the rice is good. However, we don’t need majority of the container to be packed with rice. We need the protein! The rice is not helping with my gym gains! I need yall to portion control over at Mandeville Cuisine. Please. I’m begging! Sincerely, a grateful yet...
