Rockaway Gourmet — Restaurant in New York

Only reason they got 2stars is because I only been to this place for a total of a month to get the exact same salad, yet everyone I go there’s a new price, the only time the food was consistent in price was when a specific one guy there made my food. The first time u got a sale there it was a great amount for $15 made TikToks boasting about how the price was worth it, I then returned a few days later got the exact same salad it was $13.75 (made by someone else)except the salad size decreased immensely, didn’t complain. Returned again with a friend exact salad but $16 again didn’t complain bc we were buying a lot of stuff, I return again to buy the same exact salad (the good guy) made my salad it’s $15 again hmm it was a large salad so I didn’t complain, returned 3 more times and asked why does my exact same order constantly change depending on the person, the young man at the front joked and ensured me the price was set and shouldn’t change, I went in 2-3 days later some new guy was there and had the audacity to charge an extra $2 for what idk I just left and made them deal with the food, all I’m saying is idk if it’s person to person but a fluctuation in price $13-$17from the exact same meal is crazy especially if the salad size isn’t consistent. I have no problem paying $20 for a salad but...

💘 the bagels 🥯, the ☕coffee is always fresh and employees are all friendly. Most especially, the two spanish frycooks they always smile as to say hello. The only change is now that Rockaway Gourmet is new and different with more choices of foods. One of my best choices is the salmon dish. I do like trying different meals. I do recommend everyone the salmon dish. It's such an appetizing dish that you will want to have an order to go. These frycooks do an excellent job cooking my food in a tasty, satisfying way. I have yet to be unsatisfied. If I am not happy with any foods I order and eat. Believe me, I will comment about it. Do try the delicious meals Rockaway Gourmet has. Needed some lunch so I ordered from here for my friend and me.

On Uber Eats I selected a cold sandwich (honey turkey, lettuce, American cheese, and tomato) & a Hot to Trot, and an orange juice.

Upon arrival, everything was sealed nicely and there were napkins. My sandwich was labeled.

We were anticipating our food and couldn't wait to eat it.

My sandwich was very good, I can't complain. However, my friend's sandwich didn't contain any meat. This is confusing because on the receipt it said “honey Turkey “

She was highly disappointed.

I'm not too sure what happened, but hopefully, in the future, they will pay attention to the food notes.
