McDonald's — Restaurant in New York

This McDonald is located in the service road by long island Express way next to BP gas station

In term of taste. Is pretty much the same to any other McDonald

So I will rate purely based on how the overall experience and my feeling toward this establishment

Cleanliness: 8/10 - place is kept clean at most time and I do not see any issue here

Service time: 8/10 - cashier are highly encouraged to have customer to use the kiosk than the traditional way, they do teach you how to use the kiosk to self serve

Wait time: 9/10 - on a normal non peak time you can get your meal in less then 3 minute, peak hour can be from 5 to 7 minute

Drive thru time: 5/10 - since this McDonald is at the busy main road. Alot of customer will go to drive thru to get their fix, I recommend you to get your food by walking in to order. Trust me, you'll be in and out of the place before you even get your food on drive thru

Parking - 9/10 - parking is available. At late night time. You may have group gathering once in a while that may occupied all the parking space

Safety: 8/10 - normal day you're be fine, I would be cautious at night (after midnight) because there is some gathering in this location once in a whole (like cars and coffee) and some gathering group can be questionable.

Deals (offers): 5/10 - this location since is at busy and populated area. So deal is almost nonexistent, you will need to you use McDonald app to have better deal or coupon. Only thing they offer is $3 bundle at this location and those normal $1 $2 $3 deals that had nothing worth wild.

Soda machine: 10/10 - soda machine is outside and not held behind the ordering counter (cups are behind the counter tho) and does not taste water down.

Ordering mistakes: 7/10 - like other McDonald fast food chain. This location will also mess up your order (e.g order extra onion but they give you no onion instead etc). So I would recommend to check your order before leaving including if they provide you condiments in which most of the time they forget to give them to you

Overall 4/5 star for me. A good location to get your fast food fix if you happen to drive by or work around this neighborhood. Nothing special. Again, I'm rating this based on the experience of the location and not purely on taste or bad reputation for being...

Cmon McDonalds! Your slackin.

I put in a order at the kiosk. No paper receipt given. I dont even know if my order is in the system. A order number quickly came on th3 screen and seconds later the screen went back to the welcome screen. I was going to just do the drive thru but I thought i can get a soda faster by going inside. It was 10:30pm and from the outsidd it looked safe enough. Also small orders e.g. , 1 lrg Coke should come out right away. Well it didn't and I am standing here awkwardly waiting as everyone else wait for their orders that seemingly will never come out anytime soon.

When I saw they got the order wrong of the girl at the counter. All I heard is they gave her the m&m's. I knew we were going to have problems with service. Because c'mon, it all comes down to the service. The food taste the same at all locations. Atleast the NYC Mcdonalds. So you know as soon as you walk thru the metal doors what you are getting into. That smell of chlorine bleach, waxed fries, ketchup, and a hint of greese permiating through the air.

Ok.its been to long. As I write this I have decided that Im gonna ask the guy for my soda. I shouldnt have to just stand here and hope. The nail in the coffen was when the guy who ordered a meal after me, with a lrge soda ( that they filled the wrong flavor some clear soda and they had to put the right flavor, coke), Just walked away from the counter with his meal. I felt like I should have gotten my lrg coke before the guy who came in way after I placed my order at the kiosk.

I spoke up, I said excuse me, where is my large coke, he came in and ordered after I placed my order. I showed him my number 11. He walked around bewildered in the back then said Oh, and grabbed a soda behind the wall. Seriously, the place is filthy, more specifically the table where I was sitting looked like it had crumbs from several previous meals.

Glad all I got was a soda.

One positive takeaway. Before I realized my order was being ignored, there I stood in the 'waiting area', facing a counter with no one behind it, all we can see is behind the counter is a doorway to the back room food preparation area. They did look busy. So While waiting for my food i asked this dude who was eating a chocholate chip cookie how it was and he said it was...

Nothing has changed. Placed mobile order at 6:37pm, walked across the parking lot, went inside and then waited 10 minutes for a filet of fish sandwich. Just a fish sandwich not customized nothing special just a fish sandwich. When I walked in there were five people ahead of me and two of them delivery drivers that meant the three people had regular orders, they received their food and left and I was still waiting. When I raise my voice to ask why I'm still waiting for a fish sandwich after 10 minutes nobody said anything. When I raised my voice again minutes later all of a sudden. They want to listen to me, when did you place your order? What was your order?

I complained about this store for having people who did a mobile order and the store not being busy having them wait for more than 5 minutes, 10 minutes for their food. And nothing has changed.

If they were busy I could understand but having four or five people who already placed orders waiting for food you're not that busy so why did it take nearly 15 minutes to get a fish sandwich? And then the fish sandwich itself you can tell that it's been through the microwave it wasn't freshly cooked it had a rubbery taste.

Well, let me complain to corporate again.

Walked in no one waiting for mobile order (A+) but also no one was at the register had multiple people waiting. I placed my mobile order before I walked in at 15:59, it's 16:10 and still waiting. Simple order of large fries and 2 apple slices.

Quality of service is probably as low as it can go. I expect such poor service in lower income neighborhoods. But even they are doing better than this place.

July 2022 Places online order in the parking lot, walked in heard the person who packed my order tell the other person "this is for order 1638", other person nodded. 12 minutes later I'm still waiting for 2nd person to call my number and give me my 1 item order. She tried to apologize, I just can't accept it. When it was given to her 12 min ago, she should have called out the number since it was only a 1 item order just in case the customer was there waiting.

Service is SO going...
