Mia Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

I have been going here a long time and as a person who deals with customer service myself, you always recall a bad experience. I haven't visited in a couple of months, but I used to always be greeted with a smile and some conversation from whom I believe was the owner.... He was always great, and kind, his service was excellent and food fantastic. Today I'm faced with the opposite. I let the young lady know what slices I wanted along with an order of garlic knots. After some time I thought to myself that my food was taking longer to heat up and that orders were getting sort of mixed up. I made sure they had my slices correct and I asked them to please cut my slices in half (as I have a disability that prevents me from eating a certain way) she did not have my slices cut (of course to my surprise) and for some reason all of my food was being stuffed into separate brown bags and then into one large plastic bag - who does that at a pizza shop? There's plenty of pizza boxes around to have been properly packed. At least that was always the experience when previously coming here. And funny thing the gentleman who used to always help me (light skin bald) would cut my slices without me even asking, today it mattered and it wasn't done. And my food was OVERCOOKED. How can you manage to overheat two slices of pizza and knots? It was unappealing to the eye and I could barely eat the food, the cheese was browning, too overdone. Everything was extra crispy and not by my request. This was horrible. I come up here when I'm actually close to other places because the service I recalled was always worth the extra walk, now not so sure about that. Never again. Hire new people. And hire people who clean their hands between grabbing food and touching...

Pizza good 2.50 a slice i would go back get some more pizza personally. I ordee 3 slices okay they assumed to go fine i was going to need a box anyway. Chef said to me we dont eat pizza like that so next time let us know to stay or to go. (Eating out of the box does it matter already eating and you guys got my money im gonna eat the pizza how i want does it really matter) But they are clean and comfortable and the prices are decent. Only pizza place i went to in nyc they are the 1st to say it to. But they charge $1.25 for water when you walk across the street for a 1$. Bring...

The best pizza on the face of this planet! I ordered 3 personal pans ,Which one had garlic, spinach, olives, and extra cheese. Well let’s just say that when I bit into it the cheese, olive oil, baked garlic and rich olive oil, an explosion of goodness took place in my mouth and I was in LOVE!! I wonder if God was the chef of such a magical and wonderous creation? He must have anointed the chef’s hands to make something that I’d eat daily! What a delicious pizza!!! I’m going to try cheese next and see if I have the same experience...
