New York Bagel Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in New York

Where do I begin? I ordered from them on Grubhub and put in the instructions: “Please come upstairs, I have a newborn and cannot leave him unattended.” In no other place has that been an issue until I decided to try something new and go with this place. Driver arrives and I tell the driver that there is no way that I can come downstairs as I have a newborn and I’m post op. Eventually I got a call from Grubhub that they will refund me because my order cannot be delivered. While I was waiting for the food, I decided to read the reviews and immediately regretted ordering based on others experiences. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I made a mistake thinking that I would have an any better experience. I truly am disappointed and feel completely discriminated against. I have stated on the descriptions, therefore they should have alerted the driver to be prepared to look for parking to come upstairs. The driver did not even look. How do I know? Cause the tracker showed the car arrive and immediately I got a text saying that there’s no parking. Obviously there wouldn’t be parking if you don’t look. There is always parking on the side of the building, and I mean ALWAYS. Oh well, guess I won’t eat breakfast, have to order lunch now from a different place. Honestly ridiculous. I’m struggling to walk and cannot...

The whole-wheat everything comes with cream cheese, lox, Onion & tomato on a bagel. You can get it on any type of bagel. I chose the whole-wheat everything bagel because that is my fave! The bagel was great, tastes like a real New York bagel. It's extremely fresh and tasty. The cream cheese was flavorful and creamy. Great breakfast with hot & fresh coffee!

I've tried many other highly rated bagel places around the area, and this is definitely the best. The prices were very reasonable too. The owner/staff are very friendly and welcoming

I would definitely return when I am back in the area!

This rating is my combined rating after ordering twice from them.

The Italian sandwich was very bad, I couldn't even finish eating it. The prosciutto was alot more fatty than what I usually buy in the store, and either the dressing did not go well with the meat or the balsamic vinegar had spoiled because it tasted terrible. Do not order this sandwich unless you have specifically had it from here before and like it.

Egg and omelet combinations are very good, hash browns not good at all. They didn't taste like they were cooked enough, and they lacked flavor. I would suggest ordering another side...
