Colonel David Marcus Playground — Attraction in New York

Great park, better than one on ave S/East 15th because it has swings for both toddlers and bigger children. has splash pad that's cool for the summer. Great swings and jungle gyms. Ons high spiral slide. Parts of it were recently renovated. Often crowded especially at peak times. Usually has an ice cream truck parked right outside in the summer to tease your little ones. Large area for a child to run around but must have good supervision - there are open gates on either side of the park one street block long, and plenty of spread out places for children to play. Overall a nice, average park that's entertaining for children who like the park and don't need...

It's an ok park. Parents don't watch their kids or kids come alone and are nasty. 5th grader choking another 5th grader last time I went I was only one put a stop to it also Noone pay attention to rules and come with bike's motor scooters skateboards etc and are runing over little kids. Other than the people ruining it by hogging swings and ignoring rules...

Love this park especially after the recent renovation. Super small kids friendly. The equipments are so new and fun to play. No teenagers or big kids running around. The bench are located at perfect spots for parent to watch their kids. The fence are very enclosed and you feel very secure that your kids are not gonna run away or strangers gonna...
