McDonald Playground — Attraction in New York

The new playground is a better than the old one. I have been to the park since I was about 4. It is now more expanded and there is much more to do. There is two types of obstacle courses which are fun. The swings however, need to be fixed. I liked the previous ones better because your feet can actually touch the ground easily, while these new ones are plastic, higher off the ground, and can result in a person slipping off. They should make the ground more smoother in the tennis courts. Also, the bathroom should be cleaned more often because there are flies inside. In need of a refresh. Tennis courts are the best and even there the ground is uneven in places, and got quite some cracks. The playground is the worst. Other parks have separate areas for younger children and older children but this is all lumped into one small structure which has some dangerous features for younger children. I've also seen younger kids almost get run over by much older ones since all parents just tend to allow the kids to do their own thing. There's two Bocce courts close by to the playground which are clearly unused, overgrown and occupy space which could be used to provide more options for the families who live...

I like the new playground but the time we went, the kids were playing with the water and soaked up all the slide. The kids who didn't want to get wet, missed out on a chance to go on the slides.
