Terrible Service & Out of Stock - Popeyes Nostrand & Lafayette (Late Night)

My visit to the Popeyes on Nostrand and Lafayette on Monday, June 30th, 2025, around 12:40 AM - 12:45 AM, was incredibly frustrating. I waited in line for a full 20 minutes, only to finally be told that they were completely out of chicken – including wings and legs. Why was this not communicated to customers waiting in line?

The cashier was painfully slow and seemed to have no sense of urgency or customer service. She actually stopped taking my order mid-conversation to attend to someone else who came in for an online order, which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It's a small place, they clearly see everyone coming in. A simple 'we're out of chicken' announcement would have saved me (and others) 20 valuable minutes. I walked out without ordering anything. They serve old food and you can taste that the food is not fresh , the service is terrible 😞 they lack basic customer service skills here. Very rude cashiers and managers. Everytime I come to this location there's a cashier who's always being nasty to the customers while having her 3 children in the store while she's working. This location is very small there's only three - four tables, how dare you bring your 3 kids to work then have the nerve to be nasty with people and try to purposely offend people on the while on the clock ? The place is small but clean. The food was okay. It didn't have that flavor I am used to...I feel like the seasonings have changed. I ordered the chicken tenders with French fries. It was 2 orders that came to $30!!! I was shocked because I never paid that much for just chicken tenders. I guess inflation is real!
