Banneker Playground — Attraction in New York

I don't have kids but my apartment overlooks this playground and it really reminds me how much I loved these as a kid. The two jungle gyms look high quality without much risk of splinters or nasty tumbles. There are two of them as well as an area with six bucket swings (so unfortunately only good for toddlers) and a bench area with four chess tables. Since there is a medium sized park less than one block away and a public pool across the street, odds are decent that annoying wanting to actually play chess on them won't need...

The park is nice and quiet compared to the big park across the street. The bathrooms were locked so I took off one star. A park employee was cleaning but they left a pile of clothes and books in the kids play area that was...
