This is just a review on their bread.
I've been a regular customer since they opened shop at the 65th location. IMHO, they had the best brick oven bread and pastries in the neighborhood.
Since they moved over to the 63rd St location, pastries were no longer available, but still baking the best bread. (However, their chocolate bread has gone downhill throughout the years).
Now that it's been rebranded to Royal Crown Filonico Piccolo, their bread has changed. What used to be a light, airy, flavorful bread is now dense and taste like American white slice bread.
