Worst Peruvian food. Sweet plantains burn - the so called Peruvian rice tasted like old rice on top of that the sausage in the rice was burn as well. Never ordering from this place again. I called to let them know what happened they just said we will tell the "chef" if you can call him that ... they just hang and did not try to correct their mistake. I mean who sents burn sweet plantains come on. Avoid this place.

I’m not sure if it’s the best spot in the area, but it’s good, high quality and gets the job done, had a few meals here lomo, jalea, chicha all the good eats If you’ve never had Peruvian it won’t let you down

I love this restaurant, it gives an authentic Peruvian experience. Not only does it have great entrees, drinks, and desserts, there’s music for the family. I recommend everyone Peruvian or not, to go!

FALSE ADVERTISING!! We really went out of our way to get to this place because my mother wanted to celebrate my b-day and she knows I LOVE CEVICHE.. I read the reviews written about this place and decided to go there. Having said that, came to the conclusion that the five stars given to this restaurant were probably given to this place by either friends or relatives of the owners. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL BY THIS PLACE. It's a small restaurant, simple, which is fine with me but the service deserves 1 start. We waited for more than 30 min to get seated and after we finally got our table, the waitress took FOREVER to even ask us if we wanted something to drink... Terrible, when the CEVICHE came it was good but just based on the service I will not be coming back to this place. People who say this place deserves 5 starts cause of the service DO NOT have a clue about what top shelf customer service mean. I work in the customer service industry and the experience I had at Sabor Peruano it's really below average. On top of everything, a lady eating on the table across from us found a piece of plastic in her food.....The coffee looked like it had been there sitting for hours.. Btw they DO NOT sell alcohol so the pictures above it another prove of false...

The food was great, but the service was horrible, the place can use some cleaning up as well. I went with my boyfriend Sunday night to grab a quick bite, no one greeted us or brought us menus which is fine, we sat on a table for 4 and luckily there was one menu there. 10 to 15 mins later one of the waitresses came with her notepad and pen and just looked at us, didn’t even say “hello” or “goodnight, what can I get for you” nothing, I just looked at her and didn’t say nothing my boyfriend asked her what soups they had she named like 3 I think or two then I said give us a min, she just walked away. On my way to the restroom they had trays of dirty dishes, and cleaning products, which were all visible from the tables. I mean there was only two tables with people, it wasn’t even crowded to justify the dirty dishes and bad service. I honestly wasn’t going to tip her because her attitude was not customer service friendly. When we got our check she had already added 15%. Like I said the food was good but the service from the waitress could use a lot of help, as it clearly looked like she did not want...

Besides the exotic scenery and amazing food, Sabor Peruano serves as an extravagant tribute for an authentic peruvian restaurant. The chicken is delicious and the lomo saltado is to die for. Each bite I took returned me to my childhood where family reunions and fiestas galore. But this is what one should expect from a family owned restaurant who's main goal is to share their heritage with the big apple. If you're worried about proportion you can check that off the list. I eat here almost every weekend and I can't stress enough the abundant food and drinks I was able to take home for tomorrow's dinner. Their homemade green, yellow (my favorite), and red sauce are the type of toppings that are literally good on anything. Just writing this review has my taste buds itching for another meal. Sabor Peruano, the official, authentic...
