I have gone here since it's inception. In the beginning everything was running smoothly. I guess as more people started to find out about this location, people started coming in droves. There was a Dunkin Donuts across the street that quickly closed up once this place opened. Now more people were coming in for their coffee and drink needs.
The problem with this establishment is that as the business grew the employees became unable to keep up with it's demands. Over the last few weeks I was noticing that it's been taking longer and longer before my drinks were made. Usually there is only one person making the drinks while one or two other persons are by the cash register/warming up food or wandering around looking busy behind the counter (filling cups/checking inventory/going in and out of storage area...)
I used to order in person. It would take roughly 10 minutes to receive my order. I downloaded the app hoping if I ordered ahead of time there would be no wait when I arrived some 15 minutes later. It only seemed to get worse. Usually the drinks are still not made. I would have to wait 20, 25, nearly 30 minutes in total. One time I inquired about one order and the barista said it was coming after I'd been waiting on the premises 25 minutes. 5 minutes later she had started to make the drinks for myself and about 2 or 3 other guests who ordered the same drinks and brought them out at once.
The board would sometimes register my name as "Received" when I hadn't received the order. Yesterday the order was completely lost. The barista apparently skipped my drink order and went on to make others. I had to point out that I was waiting for quite a while before the oversight was noticed. Meanwhile my app had informed me that my drink was ready and would be waiting for me when I arrived.
Typically one barista attempting to make drinks for 20, 30 customers plus some guests within a short span of time?
Does that seem like a reasonably run establishment?

Read moreI am a DAILY Starbucks customer. This Starbucks location is one of the WORST I’ve EVER been to. I cannot even begin to tell you how frustrating it is to have to order and pay an UBER EATS DELIVERY FEE just to get my coffee from a DIFFERENT location because this location can’t a) get it right or b) get it done in a timely manner. The Starbucks near my home prepares my coffee (venti iced coffee with sweet cream cold foam) in 4 minutes or less ALWAYS. Busy? Doesn’t matter. Short staffed? Doesn’t matter. It’s an easy drink with quick turn around. THIS LOCATION CANT SEEM TO MAKE THIS DRINK IN UNDER 10 MINUTES NO MATTER HOW NOT-BUSY THEY ARE. Additionally- the rudeness is extraordinary. Recently, I ordered my usual and arrived 10 minutes later to pick up and my drink wasn’t ready. I was marked “in progress” on the screen. While I was waiting, I watched the screen as my drink was updated to “ready” but no drink was put up. I waited an additional 3 minutes before I asked where it was. The barista says “oh someone must’ve stolen it”. I said “um. No. It was never put up.” Then she proceeds to tell me that “the system updates them on their own”. Um. No. No it doesn’t. I waited an ADDITIONAL 5 minutes before she finally made my drink and handed it to me- snippy. Another time I walked in 15 minutes after ordering to see 6 employees: 1 ringing people in AND making drinks, 2 cleaning, and 3 gathered around having a conversation with a customer and their kids. There were close to 10 drinks “in progress” with people waiting and a few people on line. Instead of helping make drinks for the people waiting, 2 of the employees socializing came behind the counter to make drinks FOR THE KIDS they were playing with then proceeded to hang out and chat for another 15 minutes (I’m now waiting 30 minutes for an iced coffee). Unbelievably unacceptable. Someone needs to fix things over there because it’s insane the wait times and disrespectful attitudes of the workers there when you say something ABOUT the ridiculous wait times.

During my recent visit, I encountered an issue with one of my drinks, specifically with a no-ice request. Despite ordering the smallest size, my drink was noticeably short-filled, with more than an inch missing from the top of the cup.
Upon bringing this to the attention of the barista, I was met with resistance as she insisted that the drink was prepared according to their measurements. This discrepancy left me questioning whether there may have been a misunderstanding or if there are changes in management policies regarding no-ice orders.
Having been a patron of this Starbucks since its grand opening, I've never encountered such an issue before with no ice drinks not being filled all the way to the top, nor have I experienced it at any other nearby locations as well. This inconsistency in service and portioning was disappointing, especially considering Starbucks' reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, while I've had positive experiences at Starbucks in the past, this recent incident has left me concerned about the consistency and attention to detail at this particular location.
